Hi N4oo, i see that you had an early bio in the new USCIS location in Phoenix. I went there last week trying an EB but the security guard didnt accept. Last year i did the same thing and they let me in with no problem. What did they tell you when you went there?

I was wondering why that address is on my biometrics notice and not the old one. I didn't know they had moved, i was a tad confused, lol
I didnt know either till i got the biometrics letter. I went there and it looked huge, it was a commercial supercenter. I tried to go for early bio but the security guard didnt accept.

for the n-400 citizenship interview thats normal to swear you in first, before your asked any questions, every one goes through the same thing at the interview,don't lie. if you do and get cough you wont get your citizenship,
He has already had an interview.

when you do early walk in for FP..when you get to the office...do you tell them..i am here for early walk in or you just give them your letter and hope for best?
Just show them the letter. If they say something, tell them you are affraid you wont make it the day you have the appointment or any other excuse.

I have the same problem when i talk with my mother. I found out that it's the connexion is bad nowadays in whole Morocco. Maroc Telecom which is the main Internet provider said there was an incident, here is what they said: " An incident occurred on a submarine cable, which explains the reduction in the rate of Internet connection you have found.". That was 12 days ago, and they said that they fixed it, but we still face the same problem whenever we talk these days. We dont know what's going on there, is it really that incident or something else. I hate that company, high prices and the worst service.

hello all - is it required to inform USCIS if you have done a walk-in finger print appointment before the appointment date? Thanks!
No, you dont have to.
FINALLY got on update....On December 13, 2011, we mailed you an appointment notice to have your fingerprints taken. Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.
so i should be ggetting my letter this week.YAY.

From all that I have read online on message boards and the official sites, they rarely refuse anyone a 10 year greencard. In England, you have to prove at 24 months that you're still married or you're out, because you're there on a visa. But in the US, the visa only gets you in the door, and your greencard keeps you here. It's more complicated than that, but after too many hours researching, I have come to terms with the fact that my husband might never have cared about me.
Our divorce should be final in the next month or so, and I am pretty sure he's going to be married by the time his greencard expires to the girl who took him in and has been supporting him since he left me. I have had to deal with a lot of sorrow these last 8 months, but the small things to be grateful for are, at least he left before I paid for his 10 year green card next summer and his citizenship the following summer. For him and my step kids. I'd have done anything for the children. We still talk a couple times a week and they'll be spending next summer with me. They call me mom and I consider them my children. Let her pay all their expenses. She deserves to lose everything just like I have.
Why were you going to pay his immigration expenses? i think you spoilled him and he got used to you paying his stuffs. My wife (USC) paid fees for the '' K1 '' and when i came here i have been paying fees for AOS, ROC and now N400, and i am sooo ok with that because it's my responsability to pay for those things as i am the beneficiary. Anyway, i hope you will get stronger and move on, you will find someone else and there are plenty of kids that need someone to love them.

Congratulations and thank you alot for sharing your experience. I'll apply when i get back from my trip, and i'll try to walk-in on Wednesday. Last year i went on Thursday and they let me in, they seem nice at the phoenix office. Thanks again, your post is helpful for me

Boilermaker, when you get it, try a walk-in. I did that last year and they let me in although the place was packed.

You can also do what a friend of mine did - prepared the application completely before hand, including listing the time she would be out of the country under the appropriate section, then left the completed package with me to mail 2 weeks before her return. She had the prepaid FedEx envelope and everything all prepared so I just had to deliver it to their office (or call them - they would have picked it up as well). That way she was able to get the application process moving before she returned but would be back in plenty of time to make a biometrics appointment. It worked out just fine. So, if you have someone here who you can depend on to send the application off and you can get everything prepared before hand, you may want to consider that option as well.

If someone at your house can receive your letters and inform you of what mail arrives, then they can request the re-scheduling of the interview.
However, I am pretty certain the letter will not affect their decision. They will process you as if they didn't read the special request. If each person requests a different accommodations, USCIS will start processing applications with 1 year timelines. They are slow as is and this is without any special requests... All I am trying to say is do not rely on explaining it to your IO that you are out of the country.
ultimately, it is your decision, and the way I look at it is there is nothing requiring you to apply now (like in removal of conditions) so I would probably wait until coming back...

I am eligible to apply for Naturalization this month and i've already filled the application and have everything ready. I am assuming if everything goes well, i'll have my interview in October. But, i suddenly decided to go to Morocco to visit and bought the tickets ( i'll leave on October and come back in November). I know that it's possible to reschedule interviews, i am thinking to write an explanation letter so my wife will send it with the interview letter back to them at the time i'm not here.
Should i just wait and apply when i come back or it is not a big deal to reschedule the interview?

I had my biometrics done last August. Does that mean i won't have the biometrics appointment this year? how long are the biometrics good for?

Oh i forgot, so lots of Moroccans are going to Algeria to work? so why aloooooooooooot of Algerians are sneaking in our country all the time, waitting for the moment to escape to Europe. Is it because of poverty and lack of jobs or because they love adventures?. Yes there are Moroccans who work in Algeria especialy in jobs that Algerians are not good at or they need, such as Moroccan architecture. Man, the hatred Algerians have for us is unbelievable, we have done good things for you, especialy helping you getting your freedom after 130 yrs of french colonization, many of you '' presidents'' were or born Moroccans.

Hi N4oo, i see that you had an early bio in the new USCIS location in Phoenix. I went there last week trying an EB but the security guard didnt accept. Last year i did the same thing and they let me in with no problem. What did they tell you when you went there?
I wasnt able to PM you so i'm writting it here.
