Me and my husband are stuck in Germany and have L1 visas that are valid until Dec 2022 and we live in Chicago since 3 years but got stuck in Europe. Do you know if this also affects visas that are already issued or just new visas that will be suspended. Please help

      Many of you are also in a difficult situation!! I hope that this order will be challenged by congress and should be suspended till the Supreme Court can rule on this.. It is definitely unconstitutional and should be delayed till the Supreme Court votes on this political agenda...Good Luck to all and stay healthy

but if you are an American citizen you should be able to fly back home right?

No we are both Germans,  but live in the US. We both have L1/2 visas. 

We thought about traveling to another (not banned country) but are not sure which one allows Germans to entry currently. We would stay there for 14 days and then fly back to Chicago

yeah we are both germans with an L visa, we thought about traveling through another country. But all borders are closed

Me and my husband are currently stuck in Germany. We were in Germany for the visa renewal and once the travel ban for Europe was announced our passports were with the embassy so we could not take the next flight back home to Chicago, where we live and work since 3 years. We already got are passports back but cannot travel back home due to the travel ban. Does anyone know how to handle the situation. We really want to go back home to our place and are not sure what to do. Stuck here since 8th March and were supposed to fly back March 22nd.
