Same boat. My medical was delivered at Jun 1st. The status still shows Request for Initial Evidence Was Mailed now.
My PD is not current yet. How about yours?
Mine is current.
I spoke to a T2 officer and they said internally they had processed my RFE one week after it arrived. They just did not update it online. It is now at the FO.
But yes, he said I would only know that by asking him that and them looking at their internal syste,

I got Request for initial evidence at early May asking for medical report I-693. We sent back the response and my attoney said they should get it at Jun 1st.
But the case status online is still "Request for Initial Evidence Was Sent". Have anyone faced this before?
I thought it should update to something like your response is recieved or your case is reviewing.
Yep. I am same boat. EB2-ROW, with the same timeline. Still waiting to even hear if they received it.

any update?
Nope From what I'm reading elsewhere, those with RFIE for medical from NBC are not actually progressing further (versus if from field office).

whatever visa category you entered the country under ?
I entered on a J1 exchange visa. So would I put J1? Or exchange? Or visitor?

I am changing my address with a pending AOS. My I-140 EB2 was approved and its just the I485 I am waiting for.
When changing the address online, it asks me if I am in the US as a 1) Permanent resident 2) Visitor or 3)Other (please specify). What does someone in my situation put down for this... I am not a PR, but as I am working, I do not think I am a visitor or am I? What should I specify as.

Nope! Mine says “COURTESY LETTER TO APPLICANT” at the top and advises me to bring the medical to any interview that gets scheduled. It does say that “If your case does not require an interview, you will receive a Request for Evidence with further instructions.”
As I said, I hope it’s good news in your case!
Thought I'd share with you my case update online today after my RFE was received, it says
"We will review your response to our request and mail you our decision."
I guess this means I might not be having an interview if they are going to mail me a decision....

I think they might be going to waive your interview.
I will let you guys know what happens when I send it in.

So got my RFE in hand. It is on pink paper, but it is definitely a RFE as that's the title with a due date. It states "You must provide the following information in order for us to make a final decision on your case. Submit a complete Form I-693..blah blah saying what the form is.".
Is that similar wording to your courtesy pink slip?

I wish lol. I've seen some messages on this forum saying they also got RFEs not courtesy letters and still interviewed so I think that's prob it more. Will let you all know.

What is your filing category? Did you ever have an interview scheduled?
c9. No, it was fingerprints received before this RFE. So prob means I do need to go get this done

Well, who told you that?
If, when you applied, you didn't include the medical, you'll get a courtesy letter. It isn't the same as an RFE because you will most likely be told to bring it to the interview, rather than send it to USCIS.
That's the difference (plus it won't show on your case status that the courtesy letter has been issued).
In our case, our letter just says to bring the sealed medical report to the interview. Thanks, I got an update on Case Tracker saying RFE sent today, and called USCIS and they said it was a I693. I did not send one in with my I485 as didnt want it to expire. So now I will wait and see when the letter says, but if it is an RFE, maybe I will have to get it done now?

No.
Thanks. I was just told I will be getting an RFE for the medical check. Is this the same as the courtesy letter?
-
When a courtesy letter is sent, is that then listed on the electronic USCIS case tracker that a letter has been sent?

Sharing my experience as reading everyone else's has helped me.
1/21/20 - submitted new I131/765/485 to NBC for c9
2/18/20 - biometrics taken and applied to I765
4/6/20 - expedite request over the phone
4/13/20 - no request for evidence ever emailed/mailed so I contact my congress rep with job offer
4/14/20 - expedite approved
4/28/20 - card being produced
4/29/20 - I765 and I131 approved
5/1/20 - combo card in hand
Thanks to whole community online!

Yes moving and changing field offices can affect the interview date. You can check the processing times on the USCIS site.
Do you know if that puts me "at the back of the line" for the office in the state I am moving to?
-
I am moving states (in the US) for a job. My I-485, submitted January, is still "fingerprints received" status. When I change my address on USCIS, does anyone know if that will affect the timing of when my I-485 might be ready for "schedule for interview" as I am imagining they might have to send documents to my new state office.... ?

Ok. Is it worth it to involve my congressmen in the case coz USCIS will work on its own pace and might take longer?
It can't hurt. I involved my congress rep and things moved a lot faster as reps have their own office liasons within USCIS to chase things up.

Are people who are getting their new EAD cards recently having validity for 1 year or 2 years? Just wondering with the virus if they are taking that into account for those in AOS which will obviously be delayed.
-
Does anyone know of EAD cases being approved 2+ weeks after expedite being approved? It just seems like all cases on this forum get approved within a week after expedite is approved.
-
Does anyone have an idea/suspicion if this affects pending EAD cards?

To close the loop on this.
My I485 was approved today. No interview. Am EB2 ROW applicant.
I sent in my medical in June and never ever got a response online saying "RFE received". Was always "RFE sent". I sent to NBC.
I called a T1, and they said they received and processed my medical in June but guess not always updated on website. They also said NBC sent it to FO to be processed.
Good luck everyone!
