I am still waiting 3 weeks for my NC after receiving the passport. I know there was one person that it took 1 whole month for the USPS to deliver their passport application to the Department of State (this in normal time would only take 2-3 days but given the COVID + Xmas time it could be a significant delay)

My passport was delivered today as well!
Expedited service
Applied (USPS): 11/4/2020Received: 11/10/2020
Approved: 12/15/2020
Passport delivered (came from Arkansas): 12/17/2020
so I came back from my international trip and my Naturalization Certificate still not arrived! Anyone else is still waiting for the NC?
My passport was received on December 17, 2020 and approval was on December 15, 2020 (so it's been 3 weeks after the approval)

I ordered the Priority Mail Express. So seems I should get the tracking number, but I didn't.
so when you go to the website for status check does it give you a ETA for delivery?
They sent me tracking number but it is still "Label Created, not yet in system" and then today my status was changed from shipped back to approval with the ETA delivery of Saturday instead of Friday.
One thing to note also these two weeks are basically the busiest weeks for USPS due to Xmas holidays.

so this page says you can request $60 refund if you applied expedited and the passport is not delivered within 20 Business Days after the application is received by the Passport Agency.
https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/get-fast/refund.html
My application was submitted Expedited on Nov 4
Received by the Agency on Nov 10
and it is still pending!
I called the passport agency and they just said it is pending. They said my application is in New Hampshire. I looked at the reviews online for this center and the reviews are horrible! I have an international trip next week but it is not considered a life and death emergency. So I reached out to the Senators of my State and sent them the Privacy Act form so they can follow up on my case given I have a trip soon.
Anyone else filed Expedited and has been waiting for that long here?
Quick update! I just received the Approval email with estimated delivery of December 18
I'm glad this is coming right on time otherwise I would have lost $700 given my ticket for the next week is non-refundable!

I noticed recently several of these passport agencies center have been snapped back to "Phase 1" recently. For example, Miami was on Phase 2 for a long time and since November 23, it snapped back to Phase 1 unfortunately!
https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/get-fast/passport-agencies.html
I think the ones that we see here that are being processed fast are probably processed by Phase 3 or even 2 centers.

yeah I'm still waiting.
when did you apply and when they confirmed the receipt?
Mine: Nov 4 applied, Nov 10 trackable - Expedited. still pending

I don't think there is any benefit in knowing which center is processing your application really.
-
Anyone else here that applied expedited on or before Nov 4th and still waiting? Now it is 4 weeks from the submission for me

Update! DOS sent a email this morning saying My passport book and card were approved and that they are printing them today. Yay!
says it should arrive on or around 11/28/2020. Basically next Saturday. That was fast processing for me!wow that is awesome and really fast! My Passport Center is Miami but unfortunately every day for the past week that I been checking their website it says "Today November X we are closed"

I applied for the passport on November 4
US DOS confirmed receipt on their website tracker on November 10
I did expedited so let's see how long it will take them. Fingers crossed!

Congrats. What was asked in the interview?
pretty much every answer you put in your N400 so you should really review your answers before you go to the interview to make sure it matches

Yesterday this journey was finished for me and I am so happy about it. I had my interview and after an hour there was a small oath ceremony in another room. As you know I filed early April. Good luck with you all!

Just had my Oath Ceremony. Checking in (including going thru security) took longer than the ceremony itself, and no guests were allowed. Best of luck everyone.
Congrats! you are one of the first April-filers that finished this journey!

Hi! Did you do biometrics or was your Green Card marriage based?
Congrats on the interview! Time to study for civics and history, haha.
thanks! biometric was done 5 years ago my green card case was EB not marriage
In order for a biometric to be able to be re-used 2 conditions need to be met together: 1) the previous biometric was collected by USCIS under the same exact A-number as your current case and 2) your case is ready to be adjudicated meaning there is a opening interview spot at your local Field Office. that's why we don't see biometric re-use to be sent to everyone. Usually after a week after bio re-use one should get the interview scheduled letter.

I'm the March filer, and yep, no update. Still no response to my query, which I sent last Thurs evening. That is already 2 business days.
I am reading on the forum that some people who filed as "late" as June already got bios-but they did so only after pestering them about it.
I feel like this is going nowhere.
The processing time highly depends on the specific Field Office. Some field offices are quick (like 6 months) and some it is between 12 to 30 months. So you should check your USCIS Field Office timeline and compare with them. Of course there are some people from Cleveland OH from May that had already their interview but again that is because that specific Field Office is fast. You can check the processing time of your field office and if it has not passed that threshold, you should not worry much:

I just saw my interview letter online it is scheduled for November 3, 2020!
