Facial recognition and checks during boading overseas plus airline passenger data may be the reason.

I think it's a matter of few years when paper passports and plastic GC will only be checked when technology fails.
  2. Thanks

Also traveled many many times on the letter, 3/4 of the time they don’t even want to see the letter at all - despite me offering it to them - and I’m through immigration control in seconds. It’s quite odd!
  3. Thanks

As long as extension letter is still valid, no problem. I travelled multiple times while waiting for I-751 to be approved. It does take a little longer at the airports though.
  4. Thanks

I sent copies of our passports and my US spouse’s birth certificate just in case but it is not necessary at all! I just did it because 2 extra papers wouldn’t make a difference in our stack (which was already small enough anyway 😅)

Keep in mind, you have shown you love each other and were granted a conditional green card because of it.  The 751 packet is not for showing you are in love, that part is over with. They want to see you have a continued life together, its the people who go overboard with love stuff and not enough things like utility bills, leases, insurance etc...that get RFEs and interviews. Prepare your application with the evidence USCIS wants to see...how you fell in love etc is not it, that part of the process is well and truly over with. So it sounds like you are already on the right track

FYI my packet was about 4lbs and a few inches thick, USCIS just scans it into their system so it won't matter how many papers you have.

Also VERY important, don't bind, staple, clip or put tabs on your documents if you can. USCIS recently updated their instructions on this. It speeds up how fast they can get your application scanned if they don't have to be removing things like staples etc.. first. No officers will be looking at your papers, it will all be on a computer screen now.

    Good luck!

Depends on your comfort level. People did either way and got approved. People did either way and got denied. I submitted everything to follow the instructions. What's the concern about heavy package? Don't worry, USCIS employee won't hurt their back carrying it 😃 If it's the cost of shipping, yes, it may be pricier. But I did it in hope to avoid RFE.

Copies of your and spouse's driver licenses with matching address is excellent piece of evidence of you living together. Include it.

No, leave blank. Unless you have a special person preparing your forms for you.

Use whatever account is active and you have access to. You can also leave it blank.

I am still waiting for the response from USCIS. I’ll post their answer once I get it.
How about you, klgck? Did you get the call?

    Hello everyone,

I applied for AOS and EAD in March, 2020. I went to biometrics for I-485 and I-765, then I received the approval notices for I-765 and I-131 and EAD card last month. On the card, it says "Serves as I-512 Advance Parole". That's why I thought the card was for I-765 and I-131.
Recently, I received ASC Appointment Notice for I-131 with the date and location of the biometrics. Do I need to go to another biometrics for I-131 even I got the approval and the card since I only did biometrics for I-485 and I-765? Is there anyone who is in the same situation? I would appreciate it if you could help me to understand this situation.

    Thank you!
