Hi! Thank you for sharing that information.

I arrived in the US on February 3rd and my medical exam was sealed in the envelop (it was in October last year). I have my interview today but I read I was not required to do a new medical exam. Is that correct? Now I am a little nervous about that because we have very similar timelines..

I never submitted medical before. So I was asked to bring one in the interview. If you are not required to bring new medical exam than I dont think it would be a problem. All the best for your interview.

Congrats again! I am really happy for you! I am also from Boston... Hope to get my I693 on time. Thank you for sharing this! Really helpful

Thank you so much.  I think you have enough time to get the i 693 on time. I was worried about not getting my I 693 on time too but my attorney advised me that I could submit it after the interview as well. All the best 👍

Congrats! Could you please share your experience? Also when isyour PD? mine is 02/24 but I sent the package on 02/21 I do not know if they will ask for the I944. One more question: How long it took to get your medical examination? I did mine Tuesday 11/17 and interview is on 12/01 not sure if it will be ready since it is holidays next week.

    Thank you.

We have the same timeline. I sent mine on 2/21 and PD is 02/24. They did not ask me for I944. I did my medical examination on Nov 3rd and I was able to pick up the sealed envelope on Nov 16th.

Our interview was at 3:45 p.m. we got there around 3:15 p.m, went through the security and receptionist. They called us around 4 p.m. and the interviewer took us to his cabin. He asked us to take an oath and preferred my husband to seat inside. He asked us for my passport and my husband's driver's license. He scanned those and gave it back to us. I handed him my medical sealed report and my all my paperwork. He asked me if an attorney prepared my paperwork and I said yes. He flipped through those paperwork quickly. My paperwork included cover letter written by my attorney and whats in there. First he asked question to my husband who is us citizen.

    What's his name?

    Date of birth

    Address

What is his wife's full name and her date of birth?

How did we meet and how the relationship grow from there?

How do you propose? Did you get down on one knee? Or was there discussion?

When did we get married and where? Who attended the wedding?

    What's your in laws name?

    Do you have any pet?

How many times have you been married?

When did you guys move in together?

My husband wasn't able to tell exact date but the interviewer said its fine if he doesn't remember.

    For me the interviewer asked

    Whats your name?

    Date of birth?

My husbands name and his date of birth

When was the last time I entered US?

How many bedroom in my apt?

    Is there a closet?

Which side of closet is my husband's?

    Whats my in laws name?

Alot of yes or no questions from I 485 regarding terrorism, communism, polygamy stuff.

He asked me to sign on one document and scan index fingers and took a picture of me.

At that time I told him my attorney was suppose to be in call for the interview, he said dont worry because I am approving you guys. Me and my husband thanked him and elbow bumped him and left.

Woohoo! What was your approval date and biometrics date? Did you also apply for AP?

I got an email couple of minutes ago since i have turned on notification for my forms. Approval date for EAD August 14th,

Biometrics appt was April 4th but was canceled. They used my old fingerprints that was in their file. On April 8th, fingerprints was applied to my case for I 765. I applied for AP, no update since March 25th, i.e on March 25th fingerprints has been applied to your case for AP.

  5. Anyone who filed I 485 on feb 21, have you gotten Ead and AP approved? I filed my I 485 on feb 21st and biometrics on April 4th. Since the Asc was closed they used my old fingerprints. When I check online, it says on April 9th, your fingerprints review is completed but since then no updates on EAD and AP. On june 3rd, my interview is ready to be scheduled for I 485. I see a lot of people who filed on feb 10th,12th ,18th, their ead is approved. Idk if I should wait couple of days to see any updates or contact uscis.
