  1. I guess CR1 visa are having problem like this..

    St. Lukes Appointment: Nov. 21, 07 - 12 MN

    Embassy Appointment: Nov. 21, 07 - 8:30 AM

Hehehe..Thats fine..you can go to your medical as early as you can..As soon as you have your appointment letter..Good luck.. :)

  2. I am with my husband during my interview and it went smoothly as possible.. :)

We already had my plane ticket scheduled for Nov 28 and my interview was Nov 21..

After hearing we are approved, my husband seemed so excited and forgot to asked about the visa pick-up..

We went to window 38 where our proofs of bonafide marriage will be return and asked the lady there about our planned flight, she just said that its not her right to decide but she will ask our CO about that..

She called us again and said that the CO said yes regarding our request..

The same day somebody called me and said that my visa was ready for pick-up on Nov 23 since Nov 22 is thanksgiving and embassy will be close..We are so happy..I guess nothing matters if u are with her besides it will help her not to be nervous.. Good luck.. :)

You were very lucky Lhedy.. You were very lucky..

It seems like in a matter of month everything has change.. Like I said... It seems like their trying to test a system that might work and eliminate Document Fraud..

But it looks like its not working.. Even from paying this Docs Verification fee.. Visas are still getting delayed..

We haven't had that docs verification fee on our batch..I dont understand why do they need that..lol :P

They release visa as fast as they can and for as long as the applicant dont have any problem with the documents submitted..If so, then they need to have some review and of course will cause some delays..

I told you they will not ask any docu but its ok to be ready than sorry di ba?

    Congrats sis..

Call me you got my number.. :) See yah.. :P

  5. Filipino families always misunderstand foreigners..They thought that they are rich since they're money cost a lot more when they are in the Philippines..And we Filipinas who married with them needs to explain to our family how tough life in the US and money is not easy..Thats just my 2 cents.. :P

  6. When we received our appointment letter, the date the for the medical was the same as for the interview, but at 12:00 AM. THis also happened to at least one other person on the forum. When my wife called the medical center and explained what had happened, they told her not to worry, just come in anytime prior to 1 week before interview and to bring the appointment letter. So, if this happens to you, no need to panic.

Same as mine but I just ignored it..I don't even bother to call them..lol

Coz for sure they will tell me to go there a week prior to my interview wherein I can go there a month before.. ;)

Your wife can go to her medical exam anytime prior to her interview for as long as she has her appointment letter with her..Good luck..

  7. My husband was with me on my interview too. He booked a flight from a travel agent. Round trip for him and of course a one way for me. It is risky to book a flight when u still don't have the visa but of course we take the risk. Round trip flights are a lot more cheaper than one way. Just have a time management for the whole trip. Good luck. :D

  8. They let me checked in my phone at the counter where they are scanning my stuff and gave me a number but all the people outside said that because I am with my husband who is a USC thats why they allowed it. Those bystanders are convincing people who are trying to come inside that let them handle their cellphone for USEM are not allowing it. They actually had a fight with one girl who just came out from the embassy premises and advised the girl that she can leave it in the counter coz those people can steal it. They argued. Hehehe. I dont know if that girl listened to her. I advise to leave it at home for the interview will not last that long. Good luck. :D

  9. Congratulations and welcome to FL. Where exactly u are here?

We dont have any baggage problem or maybe I didnt know..lol

I had liquids on my hand carry but I just need to put it in a zip lock bag.. Have a safe trip.. Von boyage.. :D

  10. Just wondering if anyone ever got a medical appointment as weird as mine...

    strCaseNumMNL20.jpg

    what did you do?

Yeah, same us mine. My interview scheduled Nov. 21 8:30 am and the St. Lukes appointment is NOv. 21 12 MN. I laughed with it since I know that the clinic will be open till 6 AM. It happened sometimes since they encode wrong information. It is confusing especially if there are a lot of applicants. Good luck.. :D
