@Spencer_Kyle just jumping in quickly to help you out because I'm noticing you're asking people who filed spousal visas (not K-1) about their process and expediting and what you need to do next for your case. It's going to cause you some confusion. You'll notice often under people's names it says what type of visa they filed. The process is different for IR-1/CR-1 than K-1.
Seeming you are K-1 your process will be this: you need to wait for NVC to give you a case number before you can request expedited processing. At the moment that is taking anywhere from around 3 weeks- 7 weeks from NOA2. It took me 7 weeks for them to generate a case number from NOA2. At that point you can request expedited processing but you need to ask the Consulate. If approved they will request your file from the NVC. I'm not sure how things will change between now and when you get a case number but that's the process at the moment.

I got the same exact useless response to my service request that you did. I put in the request on May 13th, and got that response today.

I’m definitely doing my best to be patient because that is honestly all I can do at this point. But this wait and the fact that Oct., Nov., Dec., and 2020 cases are getting processed ahead of some of us is infuriating.

Congrats! This is encouraging news! Our PD is September 11. I have been seeing people in the Facebook group getting crazy fast approvals for some reason at Potomac. Someone filed an I-130 for their parent on April 6, 2020 and it was approved April 23, 2020. It doesn't make sense why some people who have been waiting 8+ months are getting jumped in line by people who jut filed one or two months ago.

sept 11 for us. it’s really disheartening. trying to stay positive but it’s honestly so hard at times. all this mess going on in the world and you just want to be with your spouse and can’t be... it’s a bit unfair, ya know?

while our situations may not be the same, i do understand your frustration.

i visited my wife at the end of february, not knowing it would be the last time. i had planned to travel back over next month but now that won’t be happening. unfortunately with the way my job schedules leave, i’m unable to take vacation again until october. we’ve never gone more than 4 months without seeing one another despite the distance. i know i am lucky for this but it’s all relative, isn’t it?

i think one of the hardest things is feeling like no one really understands. friends and family say, “oh, i can’t imagine how hard it must be for you” but then that’s the end of the conversation. i know they mean well but still...

i wish you luck going forward. i hope all of this craziness subsides soon, for the world and for us. we will get there soon enough.
oh, and congrats on the baby! 👶

Yep I feel exactly the same way. I hate to be throwing myself a pity party but I flew back at the end of February to apply for my Ukraine extension visa in New York. As I was waiting for my new passport they closed the Ukrainian embassy and cancelled all the flights. So I've been stuck living with my parents for the first time in over 10 years, away from all my stuff which is back in Ukraine and of course my wife.

Then a week after all this bad news happened, I find out my wife is pregnant and I can't even watch her go through the process and being there to help with everything. It's been very frustrating to say the least.
