ROC is averaging to almost three years now. Don't expect movement anytime soon, unfortunately. Maybe around the one year mark...
And if you plan to file for citizenship, do so as soon as you are eligible.
Yes, I will apply as soon as I can. But, I can not do it yet.

You are still on just case received? Not even the "actively being reviewed" ? None of this process makes any sense at all.
No, no movements at all. It has been at "Case Was Received" since it was filed.

The answer is still no. You are in a period of authorized stay while your AOS is pending. Nothing to worry about.
Oh ok, I was kind of worried about this. Thank you for your answer!

My interview is finally coming up, so I've been reading once again all the forms that we sent to USCIS. Seeing form I-485, I saw Part 8 Question 17 which says: "Have you EVER violated the terms or conditions of your nonimmigrant status?". I came to the USA on a B2 Visa and filed the AOS before the expiration of my I-94, so my answer for that question on my form was NO.
My question is..., What about if during my interview the agent ask me the same question? My I-94 expired back in February 2020, does it means that I violated the terms of my B2 visa?, What should I respond?

My final interview was scheduled last monday!!!
Waiting for the invitation letter yet.

Your renewal card was quick to approved. I just sent my renewal document last week and my card will expired on June 2021. Do you think I have enough time?
If they give you an IOE case, they will approve you within the first three months, so I think you’re fine.
BTW: today I got the notification, my Interview was Scheduled

I'm ready to be scheduled for an interview since March 12th, 2020 🤷♂️

Something new, guys? 👀

Guys, I just got my combo card (I-765 & I-131) and I'm thinking about to travel back to my country to visit family and friends. I've been reading on internet about issues traveling with an Advance Parole, so I'm scare about to use it.
Just so you guys can analyze my case, here's a recap of my timeline:
- I got into the USA on August 02, 2019 on a B2 visa (I-94 approved until February 1st, 2020).
- Married with an USC on Nov 18, 2019.
- AOS filed on January 13, 2020 (Priority date).
- Got AP on January 30, 2021.
- As of today, I still waiting for an interview.
I have not had problems of any kind with any agency (Police, Immigration, etc...)
Based on my timeline and your experience, what problems would I face if I left the USA?

September 2019 Submission
October 2019 Biometrics
January 2020 RFE
February 2020 EAD/AP approval and AOS ready for interview
BTW, It took you 5 months to get the "Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview" status?! 😯
It took us 2 months to get that status!!
We filed back in January 2020 an by March 2020, we had that status.

Our RFE was only a birth certificate (which we did submit, they just lost it). We wouldn’t have gotten EAD/AP approval/card and AOS ready for interview if they were still looking at RFE, which they are not because it was marked as accepted.
True..., I was just hoping I don't have to wait that long. 😜

Probably you've been waiting that long because you got a RFE, I think they hold your case for months when you get a RFE.

We have been waiting a year and 1 month since submission, and 8 months since it said “ready for interview”. We are also family-based. It can take a while.
What's your timeline?
Did you get any RFE?

Hello! I am glad to find this thread. There are so few of us or at least "active" VJers from Orlando. We submitted our AOS September 2019, biometrics October 2019, RFE January 2020, got EAD/AP February 2020 and also AOS "Ready to be scheduled for an interview" in February 2020. We just submitted our EAD/AP renewal October 2020 without an interview in sight. However, from what I have seen in other states, there is a chance the EAD/AP renewal will prompt an interview for AOS soon.
FYI, time for an interview now is between 11 months to 34-35 months. So, yes, we are backlogged. They are still working on cases from 2017.
12 to 30.5 months for family-based applications (which is my case)..., I've been waiting for 9 months already, It seems like this gonna take a while! 😩
I hope they call me once I hit 12 months, cause I don't want to wait for 30 months, especially when we didn't get any RFE.

We had to refile because the services we used messed up and we got a denial. I’m so angry. You can only imagine .
So what's your timeline?

Hi Orlando Filer Here. I’m a USC and my husband is the beneficiary.
10/2/2019 Uscis received the forms
march 2020 EAD AND AP approved
April 28th ready to be scheduled for an interview
So you've been waiting for over a year.
The fact that you're an October 2019 filer and haven't received an interview yet, scares me 😬

Did you file adjustment in March or prior to that?:)
I filed my case back in January 2020
Check my timeline in my signature.
