Congratulations!!! 🎉🎈🎊 what where the questions??? And what did u take to the interview? What city are you in?
Not a whole lot of questions. The immigration officer went through the Inadmissibility questions from the I-485. Cross verified all the information submitted. Explained the conditional green card process and about when we would need to apply to get the conditions removed from the green card. The status changed same day to “card being produced”

Of course, he’s not planning on doing anything its just what my lawyer stated its better for me to be in U.S. at the time of his interview. She said the same thing during my sister’s husband’s interview and she had to come back before he had his interview but I don’t get this at all!
Yeah if the embassy knows you are around ; you may be then called for an interview as well. Then a stokes interview could be potentially done and if there are any discrepancies then it could lead to a denial of the visa. Remain in the US. You do not know if the case will be put in AP and the you won’t be able to come back with him or her anyway.

What was your RFIE for? We have the same date for when we got our RFIE's so I'm now getting kinda scared to see people getting their "interview is ready to be scheduled" notices and I haven't which makes me think that I will have another RFIE or even worse, a denial...
USCIS requested the long form of the birth certificate.
RFIE updated on the system on December 27th
RFIE received on the mail on Janaury 2nd.
Response to the RFIE sent back on January 7th.
USCIS update on the system about RFIE received on the system on January 9th.
Case is ready for an interview on January 24th (updated on the system).
Interview has been scheduled on Jnaury 24th (updated on the system).
Hope this helps!

Probably not my case. Seattle is notorious for 15-18 month wait times
Agreed. Visa journey estimates the EAD arrival for those who filed in October around Febraury - March. Try calling USCIS after that estimated time if your EAD has not arrived yet.

Because being processed to an interview is down to the local field office, not the NBC.
I'd take the fact you have an interview scheduled as a home run. I am greatful for that. Ideally, yes all of us would like an EAD but knowing that there is an interview on the way can immensely help.

Any October filers who got RFIE, but now they have their EAD?
I got a RFEI and I do not have the EAD. However, my status changed to "Interview has been scheduled". I am located in the midwest, St Louis, MO field office. Depending on where you are located it could take less or more time to get an interview, but I have observed more and more people are getting scheduled for their AOS interviews.

hello everyone... I have one question... I did an address change yesterday... we have not received any info or update regarding our process yet... since December 23rd.... will the address change delay the process?
No, it should not delay the process, but also USCIS takes a while to update the system with the new info. Make sure you use USPS mail forwarding so even if you get any documents, it can be still be forwarded to your new address.

Thank you, yes indeed. But in my humble opinion, adequate and normal country would have stopped "witch hunting" at the step 1. Went to embassy, had interview about visa, proved them you had true love and relationship, they approve you. They issue you visa. Done. No more hassle. No more humiliating questioning and doubting my love for my husband. Would be so perfect.
