Hi! Has anyone or is anyone making travel plans to go see their spouse during the quarantine? My husband and I were thinking of trying to make arrangements for the end of May/first of June. He is in Mexico City. I am curious if anyone has been still visiting their spouse during this time. I understand the international flight ban but I didn’t know if anyone has an experience and know if it’s okay to do so.
thank you
Hi, I'm visiting my husband in Guanajuato since April 5 because my job closed due to covid. I'm still here and don't even know when to go back to the US. I entered via land by bus. I'm thinking of going back the same way, but I guess it all depends how things get. By plane I really don't know how that's working but they did check everyone on bus for fever and any symptoms.

Is anyone having issues logging into the USCIS I-130 online application? I am trying to return back to our application but I keep getting an error saying the page is not available.
USCIS website is down, keep trying everyday until it's up and running.

If you are married, you can not file as single. You must file as Married Filing Jointly, Married Filing Separately, or Head of Household. If you choose to file Married Filing Separately, you should enter his name on the 1040, then hand write "NRA" in the SSN box...........cannot be filed electronically
Ok, so if I file HOH (have qualifying dependents) is it necessary to add him using an ITIN# for immigration purposes, or can I just file without adding him? This will be my first year doing this so it's new to me.

I'm a USC do I have to put my husband who resides in Mexico on my tax return? Of course he doesn't have a social security number and he hasn't applied for an ITIN number. Is it necessary to file my taxes as married for immigration purposes?

We had Nebraska it took 12 months for our petition to get approved.. it’s slowly getting longer...
after uscis approves it, it will go to NVC for further processing and then onto your consulate.. so expect the whole process to take around 18 mths - 2 years
Not good news for me knowing it's going to take that long. It's not easy being away from your spouse. But thanks for the info.

The service center is on the printed NOA1
IOE means the it is been scanned or entered online.
Thanks for the info.It says Nebraska service center, so based on their timeline as of now it's taking them 12 to 16 months to process? Am I right?

So I see a lot of people saying they received an IOE receipt number. I'm still confused about everything. Where are those cases being sent to? How long have y'all waited for a notice saying your petition has been approved by USCIS?
What can be done about stalled multi-year I-130s?

Alot of us are trying to do the right thing. I'm getting close to my 2 year marriage anniversary and we are stuck in our immigration process because we haven't found a sponsor. Being apart from your spouse is so difficult. There's times that it hits hard and don't know what to do than just find another way, but then we come back to reality and keep praying for a miracle. Good luck to you and your spouse hang in there.
