    Good evening everyone. I’m Henry from South Africa.I booked a visa appointment online (k1 visa)on 3nd January 2022 and my appointment is on 16th February 2022 and since then I haven’t received any letter from the embassy to go and do my medicals and the date of my appointment is fast approaching.I don’t know what to do. I only have with me the confirmation page of the visa application that was instantly sent to me after I applied online.

    My question is are my to use this confirmation visa application to go for medical or are the embassy going to send me a letter referring me to go and do my medicals.please I Kindly need advise guys.the date of my appointment is fast approaching.

      please please do a timeline

      and when the interview is complete add embassy review and the outcome

      its so important 

      this is for others going thru your embassy 

      and for those with the big age differences so we can best answer further questions 

      (to u when you AOS in the US and to those going thru same embassy as u will go thru)

    Hi guys please do witness statements important while filing for k1 visa petition that the age gap difference is 18 years and you’ve met each other face to face twice in a year.

      Your only requirement is that you have to show that you have physically met each other within the last two years from the date that you file your visa petition. I have an 18 year age gap but this is something I never mentioned in my K1 petition because witness statements is not something they ask for. My petition was approved and now is at the Embassy currently waiting for an interview. My fiance and I only focus on our relationship not our age difference. I have read on here cases that were approved with 30 year age gap. I know some members on here that have more experience can give you some of the best advice. Gather up only proof of your meeting face to face, pictures with family members with the two of you, stamped passports, receipts, and boarding passes. Good luck!
