I’d like to add one thing that I forgot to mention , maybe this is the reason why we’re seeing “ refused “ ( maybe not ). When she went to the interview , she didn’t have her medical checkup results. She had her medical done on the 22nd of February and was told to pick up her results on the 8th of March. Her interview was on the 25th of February and she was told to pick up her visa this Friday March 11th, so she went to her interview without the medical results. The results for that will be sent from the clinic to the embassy between the 8th and the 11th when she picks up her visa. Can this be the reason to why we’re seeing “ refused “ on the CEAC page ? Again thank you and everyone for all the insight
Yes it will say "Refused" until they process any paperwork that was not given at time of interview

My fiancee is trying to pick up her police clearance at the CRC, we have confirmation that the form is ready. But the agent we have been working with to expedite the process is telling us that the CRC is closed and has no update on when they will reopen. Her police clearance has been in ready status since March 3rd. This is the only thing that she needs to process her visa. Can anyone confirm if the centre is really closed?

I would contact the embassy and explain the situation.
I am aware when going into AP some members have asked for their passport back.
So, I do not think she will be denied if everything is in order.
Please keep us updated about the process and write a review.
Not a lot of reviews out of the SA consulate.
The embassy allowed her to make an appointment to pick up her passport for now. We tried to pick up the police clearance but the office was closed. Not sure why. We are really feeling defeated right now.

South African PCCs take a long time. I applied for mine mid July and received it mid September (two months).
You might want to hop on Facebook and search Police Clearances for South Africans by PostNet Pretoria CBD to see how long people have been waiting.
If you think it might not arrive before April 8 send me a PM. I can direct you to services that expedite the process.
Hi. Her police clearance has been processed, but she still needs to send it in to the embassy. My question is, will she be denied if the administrative processing (which I've read can take up to 60 days) goes past the April 8th of her passport stamp?

passport was stamped? how? by whom?
the visa is not a stamp
it will not have a visa page till it is approved and issued
much will depend on the medical exam and when it was done as the visa expires 6 months from date of medical
Passport was stamped at point of entry in South Africa. She is not a South African citizen, so the stamp has an expiration date of 8 April.
The passport is being held at the embassy pending the police clearance. Visa has not been issued yet. Still waiting on that one form.

My fiancee is from Zimbabwe, but they scheduled her interview in South Africa. Her passport was stamped through April 8th and she had her interview on February 16th. She passed everything, but they gave her a 221g because she needs to still submit her South Africa police clearance. She applied for it back in December and we still haven't received it yet. Right now they are holding her passport at the embassy. Is it going to be a problem if it takes longer than April 8th to get her police clearance?

After you get married and you are filing for AOS, are you supposed to include the Work and Travel Permit Forms in the entire package or are you supposed to send those out separately? I noticed there are different processing times on each of these, so I'm just making sure.

My fiancee is a citizen of Zimbabwe, but has lived in South Africa for several years. I requested that her case be sent to Harare since she is a citizen there, but it looks like they are sending it to Johannesburg instead. Since she is not a citizen of South Africa, will this affect her approval in any way?

I received my second NoA from the USCIS about a month ago and in the letter it said it would take the NVC about 2-4 weeks to process. Should I be on the lookout for some kind of confirmation in the mail or are they only sending the info to my overseas fiancee?

I know this has been asked multiple times. but i couldn't. find the specific question I was looking for. But just out of curiosity, are we allowed to take our own passport photo with our own phone? Can someone just take a picture of me in a white background and I can just change the size later? Or do i actually have to go get a passport 2x2 photo?
Just go to a drugstore like Walgreens and they will do it to regulation for you.

Also wondering cause we haven't received NOA2 yet. This is not only to expedite the interview, but the NOA2 as well.

I was looking on the Visa Guide and it says to print out a form I-134 Affidavit of Support. I printed it out from the link on this website, but as I was filling it out, I noticed it has an expiration date of 2/28/21. Does that make this form invalid?

I'm having this issue as well. Sent I-129F in February, Payment was accepted by USCIS in March. Haven't heard anything since.

Got notification today that it was signed for a picked up at the post office. Really surprised honestly due to the Winter storm in Dallas, but hey here we go, step one is done. 😁

That is why you are experiencing this. It's not recommended rto request this service because it delays delivery. They probably send someone to the post office maybe once a week
Omg. I can't find where I read it now, but I swear I read somewhere that Signature Confirmation was recommended. I guess I'll just wait and see what happens. If they return it to me, I'll just send it back without signature confirmation. 🙄
Thank you

I sent out my I-129F petition and documents last week. According to the tracking, it's been available for pickup in the Dallas PO Box since February 11th. I checked the tracking again today and now it is telling me I need to arrange for Redelivery by February 25th or they will return to sender on February 26th. So they're just not even going to pick it up?
Is one visit enough before sending the I-129 file?

I visited my fiancee only once before submitting the I-129F and I visited her a second time while it was processing. Should be fine.
