Just a note to those immigrating with children that your child's I-130 will be approved first ,every case is looked at as individual. Your could take up to 2 months after your child to be approved as they do background checks on you . I would say wait till you are approved to start the NVC and send all cases together , then you need to call NVC or the consulate where your interview will take place to get you on the same date with your child . If you dont you will end up with different interview date then your child. At NVC again your child will be approved first and therefor could end up with an earlier interview date . So call NVC once both cases are sent and ask them to link them and have same interview date .
