    Hi Raj,

My apologies I don't know the answer to your question and I just made it to the NVC stage. Can you please tell me about this verification letter that is needed from the employer please?

    Hi there,

LIKE THE OTHER FELLOW FILER SAID AND I ALSO HEARD IT MAY  NOT BE NECESSARY IF YOU HAVE RECENT PAY STUBS. HOWEVER, TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE YOU MIGHT NEED ONE. IN MY CASE; l just asked my employer HUMAN RESOURCE (HR) DEPARTMENT TO WRITE ME AN OFFICIAL EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATION LETTER. SOMETIMES THEY SAYS THEY USE THIRD PARTY VERIFICATION AND CANNOT WRITE ONE FOR YOU BUT ITS  A LIE. HAVE THE PERSONAL WRITE IT FOR YOU. MAKE SURE THEY PUT YOUR HIRING DATE, COMPANY LOGO AND HR CONTACT NUMBER, MOST IMPORTANTNLY THE SINGATURE OF A PERSON WHO IS WRITING.

    Hello,

You can always submit documents in additional documents section. Just write a comment about what you're submitting. This is doable, however, you will be taken to the back of the line per say. So your new submittal date will be the most current. No longer the 20th of April.

    Thank you for your Response,

I decided to Wait at this time because of several  reasons.

    1) I did submit the last 6 months of pay tubs for employer #2.
    2) I did submit the 2019 W-2 for both the employer#2

    3) seems like recently lots of fellas are getting approval faster so I’ll just wait and see if they reject/approve

    thank you again

  3. Hi Pals,

I’ve a question. Now we are at NVC Stages

I submitted my everything on April 12,2020 Except my employer #2 verification letter because HR was not reachable at that time for a week or so, until I email them and found out they were working from home and never responded to my voicemail in their office numbers. I do have my verification letter now. Is there an option to resubmit my letter now? Next question is do I really need to resubmit my verification letter now or do I just wait for them to review and see if I get RFE? If I do submit my second letter then do I need to wait longer for them to review ? I do make around 60k with my first employer and second employment is just my part time. However, I did wrote my employer name on 864EZ. I’m little concerned!
    thanks if anyone can answer

    Raj

  4. Friend, get a fixer (mediator/ Dalal in Nepali) please have your state marriage law translated into Nepali. Otherwise, they will give you even more trouble.
Other option and probably the best way to do this is to catch a guy who works inside the courthouse. He/she is usually a person who prepares all the documents and usually known as Typer  and sits in front of the computer and that’s where your file will go to before it moves further to the chief officers. If you catch him you’re saving a lot of money otherwise you have to get a fixer and spend a lot of money. Also carry your original affidavit of marriage as they keep that in the courthouse and keep copy to yourself. Hopefully, this helps.
Only pay less than Rs. 5000 to the fixer if you got luck to catch them.
    goodluck

I was honestly expecting approvals for most of us in December and January, considering they did a lot of June a few months ago already. I wish we'd filed K3 soon as we got NOA1 now. They are really teasing it out for us mid-to-end July filers since those early July approvals were a few weeks ago already. Every Monday I'm like "maybe there will be movement this week" 😹

i can't agree more with you. this is frustrating for all of us.fingers crossedd, hopefully soon

August 9th first NOA1 FILER HERE. HOPE WE GET APPROVAL BY NEXT WEEK.

  7. File your 2019 income tax as soon as possible, once approved by IRS you can print transcript online, order by phone or order in mail through online it should arrive in 5-10 business days. 2018 is optional unless your 2019 tax is not approved by IRS OR not filed by the time your file moves to NVC. IF its late then you can always file I-864 with your joint sponsor and you will be alright.
