Very true. I appreciate it. It helps a lot and is reassuring knowing what to expect and therefore having something to which we can look fwd.
Right! I am just happy I took the initiative to schedule the medical without an interview otherwise I would still be waiting for a date.

All the best with your interview. Thx for being so detailed. You have a model timeline ❤
Thx. I try to document everything for others to get an idea of what to expect. Ok n no i I w how important it is because I have used it to gauge my expected experience. Sometimes you have to whatever you can to generate some activity on your case because besides COVID, the system is very broken.

I didn’t have an appointment from the embassy but I scheduled the medical anyway for today. Went there without a letter. They called the embassy to authorize the medical. The embassy sent them an interview letter for the 29th. Completed the medical and will be interviewing on 10/29. Still only a date change on the CEAC for today 10/21. No other documents or notice from the embassy. No emails with instructions. I had already registered on the visa site for DHL prior to medical. Got lucky I guess. (expedited case. )
Congrats to all who have been granted an interview appointment . Hopefully everyone else will be scheduled soon.

Well kinda but at least he stated in the next 2-3 weeks November -December the reschedule appointments will be done. It’s better than the last time when they only state in a few weeks
They didn’t address the issue of the expedited cases that was asked online

The U.S. Embassy in Accra remains unable to resume routine immigrant and nonimmigrant visa services at this time. We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date.
You have to wait until embassy is open
watch the site for Ghana embassy to view updates

Same thing in Jamaica. See my time line. Ready on the 13th no contact from embassy and I’m an expedited case as well

Hello! We re at the nvc stage and i have a question. My husband's step dad will be the sponsor, do they need the tax trancript from irs for the last 3 years or itll be enough just the most recent year?
Current tax return is required, past returns are optional.

This is really upsetting they can reschedule k ones right away but Ir1 and cr1 has too wait for months..so unfair..and not knowing when.. What's going on..😒
My case just changed the date to today but no known action. Still says ready for interview. My wife thinks she missed a call from them this morning. Number unknown.

Yea once they approve it, they should definitely schedule you ASAP. You sent this to the KingstonAppointment email??
No, to the kingstoniv email

So generic, atleast you got a response. They replied to my email. 😔
I hear you, but I could do without that vague response especially after they approved my case for expedited processing. You would think they would have reserved a slot since they approved the case! I don’t get it at all.

That is a lot..why can't they reach out to us yet..
This is their response to an inquiry I sent them re my case:
Not very reassuring!!!
Thank you for your email. The Embassy is aware of your case and we will be in contact with you once we are able to schedule your interview. At the time that we are able to schedule, we will provide you with information on medical exam/further documentation as needed.
We understand you are anxious at this time, and we will schedule the appointment as soon as we are able given our operating status.
Sincerely,
Immigrant Visa Unit

Good day all. No updates on my end. I'm starting to think they may not reschedule until after the election 🤔
It’s confusing what’s going on. 5 months is a long time to wait. So they expedited my case but nothing from the embassy, so I’m wondering why bother approving the expedite?!!!!!!!!

The Embassy will contact you with your interview date for the expedite. Andrews schedules based on your appt at the Embassy so I assume you cannot request an earlier medical appt until you recieve your date from the Embassy but you can always call Andrews and ask.
@Unknown101 yes, there will be an ariticle on the topic in the observer tomorrow.
Thanks for the info.

Hi, does anyone know how long after ceac says ready before receiving appointment instructions? For expedited processing do you schedule your own appointment or is it done by the embassy in Kingston? Can you request earlier medical from Andrews memorial? Appreciate the responses in advance.
