  1. hey guys does anyone know of someone here who got affected by the restrogression and was asked by the embassy to get the newest income tax return of the petitioner cause the one that was sent was too old?

I'm trying to get in touch with my good-for-nothing dad and i can't, and the IRS won't send a copy to another adress unless he asks himself...

that's the only thing scaring me, that he makes me blow my interview because of that...

Please someone let me know if i should call the cops on him if i absolutely need that document, or if i can let him be for now...

Next week new bulletin? smh i'm so not optimistic. and why didn't anybody answer to my thread about the openheimer interview where he talks about the visa bulletin and his screwed up predictions huh? go guys, go comment, keep my thread alive please lol

  2. I got it through my Capitol Immigration Law Group Newsletter.

I'm very frustrated after reading this, but after all, last time that guy spoke it was way left field. How he's still at his job baffles me though lol here it is :

    (he never mentions F1, EVER)

"Our office just came back from a discussion session here in Washington, DC with Charles Oppenheim. Mr. Oppenheim is the Chief of the Visa Control and Reporting Division at the U.S. Department of State. For many, he is simply known as the person responsible for the monthly and annual visa number allocations for family- and employment-based green cards. He is also the person who prepares and publishes the monthly visa bulletin which is highly anticipated every month.

We are asked on a daily basis by our clients to provide visa bulletin predictions and when a particular priority date may become current. As a result, on behalf of our clients, we appreciate the opportunity Mr. Oppenheim has afforded us to get some advance sense of the movement of the priority dates and also on short- and long-term immigrant visa trends.

    Visa Bulletin Predictions – Family-Based

Mr. Oppenheim was also able to provide some predictions and expectations for movement of the family-based visa numbers over the next few months. Unlike the employment-based visa numbers, Mr. Oppenheim indicated that the family-based visa numbers are likely to be fairly predictable.

FB 2A. According to Mr. Oppenheim, this family-based category has shown a high demand as a result of the sudden forward movement at the end of 2010 and, as a result, had to be retrogressed. Now that the demand is fairly predictable, a gradual forward movement of 3-6 weeks per month is to be expected.

FB 2B and FB3. Forward movement in the 2B category is expected to be 1-2 weeks per month.

FB4. Forward movement of about one month per month is to be expected."

Im not happy with this, on the other hand he doesn't say HOW LONG that slow progression is gonna last. He better not mean for the rest of the fiscal year !! Let's hope like last time the contrary will happen...

  3. Oh wow that must have been so stressful Tameka !! I have a question though about the tax returns. I was wondering about mine. Did they ask for 2010 because 2009 was what u sent to nvc or it was missing altogether? The embassy couldnt answer when i asked if for my "future" interview they'll consider what nvc has "too old" because of the retrogression. Thank u for ur answer and man i feel for u it must be hard! But ure PD is close now !! Ull be there soon

  4. now guys come on, we've received a lot of help over there at the other forum. the whole time before the dreadful visa bulletin wait, all the steps that led to it they were extremely useful.

I agree they should have left us one thread for each category to regroup and relax during that awful time. It does make sense that some people were creating entire topics NOT about the bulletin there and that was not ok, but yes way too many posts were suddenly deleted for strange reasons, and moving our threads to the basement where not many people go was a bad move.

But i had a very bad experience here in the K1 visa part of here. So i'll watch it. some of those are real wolves and buttholes. but that was back maybe 3 4 years ago. and it was another part of the forum here.

But there's no denying this place here is way more focused on Fiance visas, and family based immigration way more focused on F visas.

Anyway i'll still post in the other one as well as here. Good luck everybody ! Hopefully not too many people left who don't have a visa with their case complete with 2004 2005 PDs...

  5. Hey,

Im a F1 with PD april 2006 and my case was completed waaay back in sept 2010 !! they decided to retrogress just one month before my date. So all my plans got pushed back at least a year. and if they keep being buttholes, more than a year.

Who does that? who projects dates so wrongly that they're out of visas by january when the fiscal year starts in october ! smh some people need to be put back on filing duty in the basement !

  6. Hey there, it's all in my signature.

Im really thinking there's some movement in next's bulletin. Everytime there was a retro, and then stagnation, october's bulletin was the one that went back to the date before retro. And yes this time retro happened early, but it's all because of some guy's wrong estimation. I still think new visas to give away will be beneficial for F1s.

I can't wait cause i NEED to move, i'm getting restless here lol

  7. Hello everybody

i'm about to send the DS 3032 and am looking at the D230 in advance

i'm not sure about one question

This is concerning the petition my dad did for me for which we've received news

my dad is in Flolrida and i'm unoficially engaged to a USC in NJ

He lives at his parent's house, and if i get a visa through my dad i'll live on my own.

"What should i answer for Permanent adress in the US where u intend to live if known?"

could it be a problem if i say i don't know?

if i give my dad's adress and i don't live with him is it like fraud?

If i give my fiance's adress and it's not in the same state is it a problem?

Do i even have the right to live somewhere else?

    please help me

    thank u so much

    have a blessed day

  8. Hello everyone,

in 2006 my dad who is a US citizen now (but wasn't at the time of my birth unfortunately lol) and i started papers for a visa. (I'm unmarried and over 21 in France hence family 2b category)

just a week or so ago we received an email saying the petition was approved, yey i almost had a heart attack cause i thought the wait was over but no lol

now just a couple days ago he received a letter with the DS 3032 form and the info to pay the 70$ dee. My questions are :

    - the letter says they only send that form when there's an immeditate visa availability or within the next nine months...

is it literral? or is it a template letter they haven't changed and it's way longer than 9 months nowadays? visa bulletin recently went from 2001 to 2003 i didn't see 2002 pass by lol so it seems to jump a good chunk sometimes.

How long have u had to wait as a family 2b if u've done everything u were supposed to?

    second question

    - do i have an obligation to stay with my father once i get the visa or can i enter any state? and live away from him?

thank you so much for your answerspost-34482-060605300 1277827397_thumb.jpg

Basically, I remember the french Emabssy in Paris charges 15 euros by phone call if you want to ask a question. And i see people on here writing that they call their embassy or consulate to get info or reschedule their interview.

Do we get a direct number on a letter or email to bypass that stupid greedy answering machine that tells us we'll be asked for our credit card number in a second (tchiiip)

Merci de votre aide bcp bcp bcp

  10. first i like to say am so sorry to hear about your mom rebecca

now to the op ok you say it is against your belives and you have to keep your body pure ,

so you meen to say you never had sex or went to a public bathroom ( where you can catch a desease )

or you dont go to the mall or grocery shopping cose someone might caugh on you and give you a cold ,

all this to keep your body pure ,lol.

so gotha wonder if your fiancee is as pure as you claim to be

and if she had her vaccinations as a child arent you scared ,that some of her so called poison will enter your so called pure body when you get married and have sex ?

no offence to your religion but I agrea with len if you want to stay pure why even make the effort on trying to come here ,

one question do you drink water or take a bath ?, please look at the ingrediance there are chemicals in water that will enter your pure body when you get in contact with it ,

you are still early in your process , so if you want to keep your so called pure body free of any chemicals , my advice is talk to your fiance and see if she is as pure as you and see if you can live in a bubble when you move to the states ,

we breath chemicals just by taking a walk ( what you think comes out of a cars exaust pipe ? ) lol

    garfield great post :)

wow im impressed u must be a beast in debate class huh, so many great points

honestly dont know what to answer to ... all... that... ... . u understand so much about religion and purity wow so so smart u are, im gonna change my religion and be just like u, the dream of a lifetime just came true

    ahem

  11. Estadia - that doesnt hold and you know it, my decision is the decision of millions of tourists that come every year to the US and are not required to get vaccinated, when u know 3 months is more than enough to get a whole lot of people sick, just like all the americans that come back sick to the states after a trip abroad

so no my decision doesnt affect that many people, not more than what the gvt already allows, no reaction in motion from me OR the millions that dont get vaccinated inside the US already, we would know if unvaccinated people were a threat, the gvt would have set something in motion.

    Im sorry no.

their right to live, u crack me up lol

  12. there is pro life, there is pro choice, there is pro vaccine there is pro choice

its very rare that one is convinced by the other specially on a forum thread where there is very little respect

apparently VJ has a very little amount of people that use natural remedies. That's my bad, i didnt know VJ was not representative of the whole population

Thanks to that thread i was insulted, told i didnt like the answer, told im USED to not like the answers... thanks to this post i learned about waivers which i didnt know, AND that i could not NEED them, ill see with the doctor.

as i had found on the site someone nicely posted on here that i found on my own while the debate was going on, waivrs are absolutely not typically denied. just no one has done it here or was denied for other reasons since the waiver is not just for vaccines but also for criminal records etc.... and like the person said in his post, when u mention a vaccination lawyer it goes suddenly faster...

I have time to think about it, but i have read about a natural way to de-vaccinate myself after shots... would be certainly faster than a waiver... i will look more into it.

for some info or bullcrap as you maybe think it is http://www.know-vaccines.org/index.html (im in fast reply sorry)

Im very sorry that one cannot state what they believe in without having a 100 long thread telling them they are wrong and should just do what the gvt says. I am not taking anyone's place since there's no yearly quota on K1s, what i do with my process is not offending, its my business.

that's my last post on the subject

thank you for the informative replies

  13. The thread you cite involves nursing mothers or women trying to get pregnant. I didn't see you mention a pregnancy. A panel physician or civil surgeon can waive vaccine requirements for women in a 'delicate condition'.

It really doesn't matter that a lot of US citizens are not taking a vaccine insofar as you are concerned. At this point in time, the US government requires YOU to be vaccinated if you want to live here. If you don't want to be vaccinated, you have to file a waiver; pay the fee; wait out the additional several months it will add to your case processing; and live with whatever the decision of the waiver might be.

You may prevail and in that case you can move to the US vaccine free. You may not prevail and then have to decide if you wish to violate your principles in order to come live here.

You never did answer if you figured out a way to delay processing of your fiance visa should it be approved but you and fiance are not both saved yet. Or - is this it?

ha i didnt notice she was breastfeeding

i merely went with the person saying they didnt get one and it was fine, so maybe all of them wouldnt be a problem

    i read it real fast.

it adds months? to the case? after the interview? i didnt know that. Wow i thought id get the waiver at the doctor's, the lady at the embassy sees it and says yes or no on the spot

  14. oh god there we go

we can send stories back and forth all day

some think its poison some dont

if u want to do that you can go in the off topic forum

as for the delay that thread reminded me i had the 6 months to move which i will probably use at least 4 of it since ill be working and need to give 3 months notice for my appartment and gave me tips on the sending of the packets. For my situation that's pretty much all i can do.
