TIme varies I was 1 hour and 30 minutes, but I showed up about 30 minutes before my appointment and there were two awkward people slowing things down.
 
You can bring in phones you just need to open an app at security to prove it's a phone.

I was there for 1.5 hours - but 2 ladies I was talking to were both there for around 3 hours. I would definitely err on the side of caution and assume it’ll take longer - there’s plenty of cafes and pubs nearby that you can go to after to fill any spare time!
 
Yep, phones are fine - just make sure they’re charged and switched on, so they can be checked.

It took a day or two for it to be escalated to the technical team. Once the technical team got in touch to ask for my case number and other details it was resolved in about another days time.
