O forgot to posted my experience, I had an appointment at 1pm, got to the office at 12.30, I had to fill a form ,then they gave me a ticket and waited just 10 minutes, they took my fingerprints and picture (5 minutes) and that's it, definitely the easiest part of the whole inmigration process. Now we just have to wait for the letter and I'm sure that everything will be ok.

When should I expect the letter???

do we have to send original Birth Certificates with the I 129 or photocopies???

I have just ordered International BC'S for my son and me,but am a bit confused whether to send those in or whether a copy is good enough..........

what do mean DOS?

I received a letter from the NVC asking for missing documents (IV fee) but stating that they have receipt of I-864. I have not received a bill yet for my IV, should I call them or wait a few days?

Ok THank you all for the responses. I spoke to my wife and she will be going to the Embassy in Romania and asking to apply for a tourist visa to come and visit me here in the US. Our 129F and I-130 are currently pending... will this be a red light to them, does anyone know. Will they automatically deny her tourist visa becasue I, her husband is here and they are afraid she might not go back to Romania? Does anyone know about this as well?

Any help is always appreciated.

Guys... I filed my I130 June 19th and it was processed at the center and taken into the service center June 25th. What am I realisitically looking at for an interview time for our visa? I am waiting to file the k3 when I get an NOA1. This whole thing just seems so unfair and freaking crazy. I just went through an aborted 129f where I was told I was not going to get a waiver and then I got one after I had already married due to bad advice. This is taking its toll on my health and I just need to know a reasonable answer as to how long this ####### is going to take. I am so so so so so so frustrated with all of this. Then I seen k3s getting denied and I am just so scared I will go through all of this and then we will have a problem at the interview.. Does anyone have a reasonable projection of when My husbands k3 interview will be held? Do you think that k3s will slow down when the adjustment of status prices increase? HELP. I just want to know if it will better to stay the k3 route. I want him here as quick as possible. He can adjust when he gets here This seperation is killing me

well guys i just wondered why they haven't ask my cenomar during my INTERVIEW. well i was called the NSO regarding my cenomar for marriage they told me i can get my cenomar anytime and also i have cenomar in my hand now but that was year 2005 they issued. can i send by fax to USEM my cenomar... what is the format by sending fax with them...

That is better, I suspect they were still waiting on a name check, and have to wait for that to complete.

I am glad to say that on June 27th, at 11:14PM, I recieved the famous "CHRIS" email stating my approval!!!! I didnt read it until the next day after I got home from work at 5am. So I called my fiancee and woke her up with the great news! And yes, tears came down from her eyes...and mine, too.

Thanks for all your help, but as you know, its not over yet...but its a big step!

I'm currently debating this with myself.

I'll be applying for AOS some time in July and am wondering whether I should bother with AP or not, mostly because it's $170 (or $180, whatever) and I'd rather keep the money (obviously ). I know it will be $305 after July 30th.

I see that it takes 2+ months to get approved (according to current statistics), I can probably deal with that.

- I saw that the I-131 form requires you to input when your intended date of departure is and how long you intend to stay out of the US. Does that really matter and can I just apply for AP with a mention that I may or may not decide to travel using it and that I obviously have no idea when that may (or may not) happen?

If I do have to give them an estimate, is it OK if, once I have the AP in hand, I travel before the dates I said I intended to travel at?

- Also, the form asks whether I intend to use my AP for one trip, or for more than one trip... if I tick "one trip" and then it turns out I need to do more than one trip, will that not be a problem? Shall I just tick "multiple trips" anyway and be done with it?

- Does the document ever expire, and can I use it as many times as I want -- provided I don't stay out of the US for too long with regard to the pending AOS application?

- And more generally, is it worth it to apply for AP, just in case? I myself am leaning toward "yes" as it simply makes more sense to me that way, even more so due to the imminent increase in fees, but it does also depend on the answers to the questions above; input is appreciated! Those are questions for which I could find no answers by searching the forums or the FAQs of this site, so I hope it's no problem. Thanks.

i dont have nothing to do except to find answer regarding my case .. honestly i am so worried even i paid delbros my passport is there ... i dont know what tread to do.

u know i always think why my interview result is like that i gathered some answers in my mind maybe i dont answer clearly or they havent satisfied my answer or i havent answer doc. but the documents that i submit to pre interviewer base on what they mention to me or they ask with me.

what keep my spirit alive now is here VJ's forum and some people who give advise with me here ....i realized that theirs something wrong with my case or my interview last 5/27/2007.. i was so disappointed espeacially i read some forum here after they have AR they get denied..

just a piece of advice jarl..dont worry too much..try to divert your attention to some other things..you're stressing yourself too much..

there's a lot of applicants who have been under AR..they just waited for the visa to arrive..thats all..

it says - just for review..then give them time to review it..you cant do anything about it..its in their hands now..if they need more papers, they will inform you..

is this normal payment of delbros for cebu delivery 165pesos.

Packet 4 arrived yesterday and I found out that my Middle Name was misspelled. Instead of Clariño, they put it there Clarino...yeah, just the "ñ"!!! Will this be a problem during my interview? What will I do to correct this? Thanks!!!
