i need your help what is the best solution on how to check the case number ... i was trying to enter the case#http://philippines.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html.. but dosn't i did many times to enter the case number .. but i cant ahold .. dont know what is the best solution...

Hi. Here's my story. We sent AOS application on May 14 and Chicago Lockbox received it on May 15. I didn't received NOA for my receipt number because the address I put on the application was my physical address and not mailing address ( we do not receive mail at our physical address), we receive our mail at our PO box. On May 29, we called the USCIS for the change of address and they told me to change it online. So I did. On June 5, I received a notice from USCIS, dated May 29, 2007, that they had updated my new mailing address to the PO box address on my application. Now, I have received an e-mail from CRIS stating this:

On June 6, 2007, the post office returned our last written notice on this case as undeliverable. This can have serious effects on the processing of this case. Please call 1-800-375-5283 to update the mailing address so this notice can be re-sent.

I called the 1-800 number and they said the computers were down and for me to call back on Monday.

I can't understand what's going on. They sent me a letter that they already updated my address. And now they told me to update my address again...

Anyone who encounter the same problem. Please share. Tks.

yes change of address very risky and hard to explain because we cant clarify to the uscis easily..

u know in our case before i cant explain .. so next time dont change address just wait case will approved ... only i can say even i noticed that ur done in filing petition ,,, "keep calling uscis"

anyway good luck !!!!!

I made a BIG MISTAKE I hope somebody can help me please. I wish I had known of VJ before I filed!!!!!!!!!! Anyways I just realized by looking at different things on this website that I didn't fill out the G-325A completely. Does anyone have any advice on what to do. I filed the I-130 and the I-129F for my husband who is in Nigeria. I had to fill out the G-325A for both applications it prints out with 4 pages all identicle I filled out one page for me and one page for my husband and that is what I sent in on both applications. Now I know I was supposed to fill out all 4 for me and all 4 for my husband I don't know how stupid I could have been but I never thought you were supposed to send in 4 copies. I got my NOA1 for my I-130 on 3/23/07 and my NOA1 for my I-129F on 4/25/07. Does anybody know when I will get an RFE or does anybody know what I can do to fix this????????????????????/

if the beneficiaries apply for tourist visa for U.S because the petitioner not advisable to visit the beneficiary country for some security reason. .... our paper now is NVC dont know how long it takes before the petition approve....

1.is the bene has chance that she can get tourist visa?

2. what are those requirements needed to proved to the consule that the applicant issued for tourist visa?

3. how to proved the consule?

4.if ever the applicant denied for tourist visa what happend with case inNVC it does affect in the future interview?

5. what is the ground if theirs some denial visa application?

HI i just want to make sure if NVC will collect POLICE CLEARANCE aside NBI CLEARANCE?

My wife's Philippines police certificate says "valid for 60 days." But you don't need a police certificate from the Philippines, just the NBI certificate. The NBI certificate says it is valid for 1 year.

And yes, the NVC DOES collect police certificates for CR-1 visas, so this is the correct forum.

usually our middle name here in phils. is my mother's family name, then when the woman get married they follow last name of her husband. the woman family name it will be the middle name when she got married ...in question#2 in DS230 here is ...Other Names Used or Aliases (If married woman, give maiden name). so what should i put the form same with my middle name...? my middle that was my family name when i was single .. or not yet married.. or my middle name when i was single..

You can refer to the James shortcut it really help a lot. When you find out that the DS3032 is being genarated you can send an e-mail to NVC to select the choice of agent, it faster that way.

why in ur timeline theirs 1-129f for what is that

last may 22,2007 the NVC assign case#, today i received emailed from NVC that they review our case...... i just wondered why until now... i haven't heard anything when i should i start process I-864....

who can shared to me what is the way of process DS3230?

how the beneficiaries know that she need to process ds3230?

Hello Jarl -as far as I know, the NVC do not email you unless you email them first - did you email them, and if so , what did you say ?

also, if you could copy their email onto this post (after deleting the case number for security), we could try and figure it out...
