Interview Day : 

Interview by young lady ask me the following Q

1- what is your marriage date 
2- when did you meet 
3- who is attend your wedding and how many person 
4- what are you doing for living 
5- what you wife doing for living 
6- where she live 
7- Do you have a photos 
8- do you remember your first met with your wife & when & where 

and she returned back to me the original document , and she told me Ok your visa is approved 

 

that`s all she did not  ask for  a copy of any thing just take 3 original doc ( marriage Certificate , Birth  Certificate , criminal  record )  , 

 

about medical examination it`s Online i make it in AL Shrouk hospital and they upload  the result online  no need to take it , 

about Packet that embassy will give to your with your passport ( there is no Packet only your passport you will take it and the packet become online also now 

 

Notes : have to make a album photo for your and your wife or Husband it`s very important  make some one nice to bring it with you in the interview 

 

 

please make sure that all of you complete your timeline on your profile to help each other it`s very important for all of us

NVC received all the requested documentation for this immigrant visa case. The application is now in the queue awaiting an interview appointment overseas, where a consular officer will adjudicate the applicant's visa application.   The U.S. Embassy/Consulate tells us what dates they are holding interviews, and NVC fills these appointments as the cases become documentarily qualified. NVC schedules appointments one month in advance, but we cannot predict when an interview appointment will be available.

You have a problem with your case if you are CR1/IR1 and are DQ since August 8 and have not gotten anything.

I don't work for the department of state so I don't have any answers for you except what some other people have suggested before: call the NVC. They are the only ones who have the authority to help.

Otherwise you will be waiting a long time and your paperwork may expire if don't ask about what is happening. They have already moved on to September and are starting October. Unless you are wrong about your DQ date, it looks like they skipped you so please, call them and do what ever you can to get some information about your status. Id hate for them to cancel all your paper work after all this time. Not only would you be wasting your money but you'd be wasting your time as well.

my husbands interview went smoothly, he was there for a total of 3&1/2 hours and the lady officer he had asked him 4 questions without asking to see any extra documents (like photos, messages, etc).

question were:

Was he ever married before

Was I ever married before

What is his job in Cairo currently

why does he want to leave

He got approved and said as long as you are confident and are telling the truth you have nothing to worry about.

You should definitely give aramax a call, they may have your contact info wrong or don't have time to send you the message, plus it does not hurt to ask anyway.

It took my husband around 3-4 days from when he got the approval to when he picked it up. Status was changed to issued the next day I believe or the 2nd day. It wasn't that long for him overall. Hope that helps!

Congratulations to your brother!!

All medicals from Cairo are now being transferred electronically straight to the embassy so all he has to do is go get the medical done and confirm with the doctor or nurse that they will be sending it and that's it.

My husband went to the hospital twice just to confirm that there are not giving out any sealed envelopes after he did his medical.

But did you get your interview letter yesterday or are you still waiting for it. If you got the letter yesterday then it will update saying "ready" instead of "at NVC"
