I read somewhere on facebook that someone got an expedited interview for this same reason and from your embassy. So, maybe you should try to write your embassy.
It’s for people with k2 though. If you don’t have k2 then it’s a no. My fiancé tried to expedite but we were denied

I hope the embassies open again soon so that all October 2019 filers and others can have their interviews and join their fiance(e)s. I'm here to send positive vibes to everyone because our journey started from this October thread. Please keep on keeping on, I'm sure we'll be fine soon.
All the best to us
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Hopefully. My medical will expire soon and I’m already worried of throwing the money away.

Our embassy has been open a month, but it doesn't matter if USCIS doesn't process the application and send it to them.
Unfortunately they are only selecting expedited cases for interview. This is frustrating 😢

Since there are no interview possibilities at the moment, it will have no effect right now.
Your have time to see what the future holds between today and when life resumes some form of normalcy.
The Embassy sent me an email with a new schedule on May. Dunno if they will reopen by then

Unemployed due to what exactly, the virus, how long has he been unemployed for and was last year's income?
Just today. He worked in is company for 12yrs already. Since his pay is high, his employer said they have to lay off people with high pay rate and told them to file unemployment.

Unemployment insurance is not a public benefit. It is insurance paid by the employer......It will not affect your petition.
Will it affect my interview if he is unemployed as of the moment? 😞

Will the unemployment benefit affect the petition? My fiance got laid off today because of the covid.

Is ds160 only valid for 30 days?

So, the whole new document is confusing (DS5540). I'm seeing in different locations that it will be needed for our interview, and others that it won't.
Is there link or post somewhere covering where it is actually going to be needed?
Or would it be listed in our p3/p4 if we actually need it?
Or do we actually not need it, and it's for all the people who apply with I-129F starting today.
Also, looking over that form - most of the answers would be NA or 0 anyway since we haven't even lived in the US, so why would they want it from us?
Sorry if this doesn't go here, but I can't find anything on it. But maybe there isn't much yet.
It’s confusing me too. We are actually looking for insurance plan now which are all expensive since I won’t be included to my Fiancé’s health insurance until next year

Is it true that we are required to fill out and bring DS-5540 on our interview date? @Greenbaum

I need help on this. So we submitted our I-129f and we didn’t see that there’s a typographical error on my middle name. While we’re going through the affidavit of support a while ago we noticed the noa2 with my middle name with typographical error so we checked the form we submitted and saw that it was our fault. How will we fix this on nvc stage? 😞

Maybe, They may already will know, did you or SO list a profession on any application you filled out, or put student ..are you going to lie if you put no and they ask you about it in the interview. You haven’t done anything wrong so if your intention is to work here as a nurse you should probably be honest up front, say yes and give an explanation, they should know You will need to comply with national and state guidelines and credentialing to work In the health care field. I wouldn’t take a chance if I were you, if you are going to be a citizen of this country eventually you will be contributing to the workforce after your AOS and you will pay taxes, nothing wrong with that. Hope this helps!
Thank you so much! I did state my my work but i haven’t submitted it because of that

I believe he is correct...im a nurse practitioner here you have to pass the NCLEX then apply for your state license ..so unless you don’t plan on working here in the future as a nurse or taking the NCLEX here in the future your answer should be yes ..
Won’t the consul question me about it?

See if this helps: https://ceac.state.gov/GENNIV/Help/Content/Recovering an Application after Session Time Out.htm and/or what's below:
- Use Chrome as your browser. Many have reported no problems when using Chrome
- Use your browser's private or incognito mode.
- Disable browser plugins.
- Use only 1 tab when filling out the form. Do NOT have the form open on multiple tabs.
- Press "SAVE" every time you finish a page of the form.
- If the session times out again:
- Clear browser cookies and cache.
- Close the browser (not just the tab), wait a minute, re-open browser.
- Retrieve application and continue filling out the form.
Thank you

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Manila US Embassy states that a scanned copy of the signed I-134 is fine, if you don't have the original.
THank you so much!

For the Philippines you can complete the DS-160 once you have the case number from NVC.
Have you been to Hanks website where he has instructions when to complete forms, pay fees and schedule appointments.?
I don’t know what website that is. Will you share it with me?
