The OP stated he/she was aging out (turning 21) on an F2a visa in post #1. There is no age limit per say on your spousal visa.

Quick question

I was going to include tax returns for 2010,2011 and 2012 I dont have 2013's yet is that ok?

Or should i wait till our accountant gives me 2013's?

If it arrives before 4/15 you should be fine. I sent mine in because you never know when the USCIS will make an exception.

Yes, the passport copy will suffice. They are looking for proof of citizenship.

Out of curiosity, is there a certain metric to detemine what makes one a filer of a certain month? Based on your timeline to date, I would consider you a March filer. The date the USCIS puts on your NOA1 as being received is the metric that has been used here on VJ.

i got married 4/2/2011. received my conditional gc on 10/2011. received 10yr gc on 10/2013. when can i file for citizenship? can i file within the next few months?

Without the day the conditional green card was issued an exact date cannot be figured. Using 10/30/2011 to ensure the 90 days is met the earliest you should file is 8/01/2014.

My wife's packet was received on the 27th, but the check has not been cashed yet. Unless the check is cashed on Monday it appears we will be in the April Filers group.

Park at your hotel and take public transportation. You can get all day passes for the buses, trains, and El(subway).

The lowest priced parking I have found on a weekday is the Immigration parking a block south of the USCIS building. You can easily walk to Wilis Tower or Union Station just across the canal.

A check for $420 attached to the I-130 and a check for $1070 attached to the I-485 will be correct.

Technically, the fee for the I-765 and I-131 were added to the I-485 fee in the price increase of 2007 so you are still paying for them even if you do not apply for them.

Is it normal for the embassy to hold the passport when they issue a 221g (white form) requesting documents?

When the Embassy issues a MNL-IV-22 form (with the 221g statement at the top) it is normal to hold the passport while waiting for the requested documrnts/information.

If you were issued the infamous 221g your visa petition would have been rejected and you would have received a notice your petiton was being sent back to the NVC and the passort returned.

The MNL-IV-22 form is not the infamous 221g so commonly referred to on VJ.

I do not think you will find someone who got a Certificate of Legal Capacity to Marry outside of the US Embassy in Manila. Make sure the church knows you are a foreigner.

Any foreigner who wishes to marry in the Philippines is required by the Philippine Government to obtain from his/her Embassy an "Affidavit in Lieu of a Certificate of Legal Capacity to Marry" before filing an application for a marriage license.
