Wow it’s been months of silence for me. I’ve been working with my EAD which I received in Feb.
I got an update today that my interview has been scheduled. It’s such a relief, glad I’m one step closer to getting the conditional greencard.
Incase you are wondering, PD Sept 21 2020 Newark NJ
Congratulations!!! 🎉 when will be your interview? Good luck 🍀

Ugh... more waiting. Had the interview this morning... Was told at the end by the officer that he expects that the case will be approved but that the paperwork just needs to be 'reviewed' this afternoon or tomorrow. Told me about how there would be an approval letter in the mail first then the card itself, because we were married for less than 2 years that it'll be a conditional green card and need to file to remove conditions before that expires, but that he had to give me the paperwork to show that I had presented and that it needed 'review'.... that we should expect to hear in the next day or so regardless. Kept a bunch of papers to add to the file.... handed back the passports and the Driver's Licences, etc and thanked us for coming in. All very conversational. Even saw him smiling through the mask....
Have I told you how much I'm ready to not be waiting anymore?!?!?!
Sorry to hear that! I had a similar situation- on the interview we found out that my medical wasn’t done properly in my country. So 3 weeks and 800$ later (for new medical) I’m stills waiting.
But hey! It’s the last step to go- I’m sure there is still many people who didn’t have their interview scheduled so I feel pretty lucky anyway! Last tiny step and we’ll get our GC’s very soon! Cheer up! ☺️ -

Thank you. She’s going to the one in Krakow, and the person on the phone didn’t seem to know.
Maybe I’m annoying but I would try again and if a different person pick up - to ask again. I know how important it is to be reunited as soon as possible 💖good luck guys!
I hope you’ll be able to reach the doctors office and they will be able to help you! 🤞🏻

So far, we can't get anyone on the phone at the doctor's office or the embassy to give us an answer on how long we should wait before the interview lol
I would suggest to call the lab (which you have to go to before the doctor). As I said- my results were there for me on the same day. And I could have the doctors appointment without waiting.

yeah that's the pattern i've been seeing around here.
however for the interview to be scheduled after the "ready to schedule interview", it really depends on your region. for instance, i got my "ready to schedule interview" before you, in the beginning of March and so far nothing has been scheduled for me. Your region is probably less backlogged than mine. I'm jealous hahahha
You’re right. I’m living very close to New York so I’m not sure how is out with other people in this area. I hope you’ll get your invitation soon! Did you get the EAD already? -

Thank you. We were hoping that we wouldn’t have to wait two weeks after the second appointment, but I will have her call to check. They didn’t specify when she scheduled her appointments.
@xxlian I had both of them on the same day. In the very early morning I went to the lab for x-ray and blood for this one specific disease, from what I remember it wasn’t a long wait.
And the same day at 2 pm I had a visit to the doctor for medical.
So again- I would just call the lab and double check how long your fiancé would have to wait for results in the lab.
I remember that I had to wait a little just after the medical at the doctor but the lab gave me everything the same day ( in Warsaw).
important note: my lab visit in Warsaw was in August 2020 and I didn’t need appointment for that- they told me over the phone it’s a walk in
In any case feel free to dm me if you have questions.

We are trying to schedule the interview, but I was wondering how long we should wait after the second medical appointment before having the interview? My fiancée's appointment for bloodwork is on June 29th. The appointment with the doctor is on July 14th. I'm assuming the bloodwork is what needs a couple weeks to get to the embassy, but should we wait two weeks after the July 14th appointment before she has her interview?
I’m not sure about others but I had two appointments: one for X-ray and some weird disease check (one place)- the results were given to me the same day. Then I had a doctors visit and that’s when the doctor is making all the important stuff. After he will have all results, they send it directly to the embassy (you get a copy of medical).
I remember that when I was scheduling my doctors appointment they advised me how long to wait till the embassy interview- your fiancé might call to ask them as with pandemic it might change frequently. I think it would be the safest option.

are you saying it will take a month from the notice "ready to schedule an interview" for the interview to be scheduled?
'cause that's not usually the case lol i've been waiting for my interview to be actually scheduled since march this year...
@kkmk You’re right! I misread previous one.
I thought that Rami91 got status ‘interview scheduled’
The interview is around one month after receiving the letter with invitation.with my case:
April 8, 2021 ready to schedule interview
June 9, 2021 Interview Was ScheduledJune 14, 2021 letter receivedJuly 15, 2021 the interviewmy last answer: interview is within around a month after receiving a letter. I’m sorry for confusion!however, I hope your interviews will be scheduled very soon ❤️ -

June 14, 2021 Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview.
hopefully they wont take that long to schedule our interview
Usually it’s around a month after you’ll receive the letter so probably around 20th

Thats what I was thinking, but when we tried to do that it asked for a license number to book the appointment (which he doesn’t have and it wouldn’t accept his Canadian one). We were able to make appointment for a permit only but not sure if a permit is what he even needs because that’s so basic
Did anything change with your situation guys? I recently got my EAD and I want to make an appointment but not sure if for permit or knowledge test. The soonest knowledge test spots are for July! 😱 that’s such a long wait!
I’ll really appreciate if you can share any info ❤️

I just received my combo card on 19th (but collected it today). I’m so happy ☺️ Somehow the ‘case tracker’ didn’t notify me about any status change so I’m so surprised ❤️

But the Case Tracker and Lawfully are updating.
Thank you Tropical_Man1 🙏

I had my biometrics appointment on Wednesday 17th of February and the same day nothing changed on my uscis account (I had only ‘case was received’ status).
Since yesterday my case status changed to: ‘Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken’.
I keep praying for all of us to get our EAD as soon as possible 🤞🏻
Update: I just checked my account and it says ‘Error retrieving case status’ 🙀

What do I submit if the beneficiary has no credit history because they have never had a credit card?
I tried adding info into annual credit report website but it says that we could not be verified and asked us to mail in documents...is there another method?
I guess there are few ways to handle it. Someone discussed it here already.
I wrote a letter that as I just came and don’t have the SSN - I’m not able to generate it. Some people notarized it. And others used some website to make a note that they don’t have a credit score.
