    We just sent back the same pages. I noticed that we had one page that was was filled out wrong so I did print that one new page but kept the rest. We didn’t have an issue doing it that way. I did get a money order for the second time to prevent any issues.

    We bought a refundable round trip ticket and was able to get a refund on the unused portion so it end up being cheaper than a one way or even a non-refundable round trip.

    Actually Hungary does not recognize the marriage as a partnership currently. I’m gay and married to a Hungarian. We currently are living in Hungary and had to go through a lot of hoops to get a new partnership formed so I could stay, since they would not just accept the marriage as a partnership automatically. I can’t speak for renewing passport if it asks for marriage status but if it does in the eyes of the Hungarian government you are single.

    I’m surprised that it took them so long to figure out he wasn’t a citizen. He admitted to voting I wonder if that would block him from being able to get residency, even if he did not know he was unable to vote?

    Hello, My spouse applied for a reentry permit in December of 2022. We left the US in February. I know it takes a long time to process but let’s say it takes two years to approve would it then be issued for an additional two years? So four years total from when he applied or do they count the time to approve against the validity of it? We’re not sure how long exactly we are going to stay out of the US. Also, if we need additional time we have to go back and reapply for a new reentry permit from within the US, correct? I looked for some answers in the forum but didn’t see exactly what I was looking for.
