yeh i didnt mean to add ending date to current marriage. Do you mean you made this mistake on N400 and it got overlooked?
That's correct. They ignored that on my filling form.

Honestly, It's confusing while filling the file. They have an ending date field on current marriage and you can make this mistake anytime. I have this on N400 and it went through without any issues.

You didn't even get an RFE? OR did you get one? Just to clarify.

It’s possible about needing interview but makes no sense, there are hundreds of cases before and after mine at LIN/Nebraska that are pending interview on their case and were not transferred

Are you fully sure because my AOS was at NBC and interview was waived with case approved.
Does anyone have any proof that all i751 cases that go to NBC/MO will end up requiring an interview?
Because they skipped your AOS interview so that's why they need interview on ROC.
14 minutes ago, NorthByNorthwest said:I haven't heard of anyone who got the interview waived for both AOS and ROC. Plenty of folks have been skipping the ROC interview, but as far as I know only ones who already did an AOS interview - I could certainly be wrong on that though...
I knew few people doesn't have any interview at all.

Hello,
Just received my NOA today (01/8/2020) regarding the transference of my I-175 (WAC Case No.). The letter explained that they completed the preliminary review of my case and it was transferred to the National Benefits Center in Missouri as a part of standard processing.
This NOA letter dated 10/01/2020 (exactly 1 year from my I-751 date of receipt date, 10/01/2019) does not have any further instruction. It simply stated that the National Benefit Center office will notify me in writing when they make any decision or need more information from me.
I'll take that this is a good sign?? But then again, any news is a good news at this point for me. Thoughts?
I hope everyone is well, safe, and healthy.
My best,
J/G
They will schedule you an interview due to transfer to NBC

just curious...I applied for the divorce waiver...and I sent a lot of proof of bona fide marriage.
is it normal for divorce waiver to be denied??? we heard so many lies about it that I dont know what to trust!
I applied for divorce waiver and got approved in 11 months without interview and rfe. So don't worry

Hello,
I have a question regarding the I-751 paperwork. So my divorce has been filed but it's still pending. I'm currently filling out the paperwork getting ready to submit it in the next few days.
On the first page is asks about marital status, I'm obviously still legally married so I check married, correct? As it's not ended yet, I also put N/A in the date ended because it's not yet finalized therefore there isn't a divorce date yet. And then on page 3 I would simply put a waiver request under good faith and then wait for the RFE for the divorce decree?
Sorry if that sounded wordy or confusing.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Yes. Mark as married in your status because your divorce is not final yet. And check waiver good faith in page 3

Hi everyone,
Do you know if being separated by school/summer internship would be a big issue when filing for removal of conditions? I'm planning to attend Business school in 2022 - 2024, and most of the good Bschools are more than 2 hours from where we live. Commuting 4 hours everyday for school is not ideal for me, so I think I'll have to stay in dorms during weekdays and only go home for the weekend. My USC husband cannot give up his job to move to another city, because he has a contract with them till 2025 (or he will have to pay back his Master's tuition)
With current estimate (could very well be changed), we'll need to file I-751 in 2023, in the middle of my MBA course. Do you think the fact that we don't live together for most of the week would be an issue to USCIS?
If you were in a similar situation, did you have to go to interview with USCIS? What questions were you asked?
Thank you so much!
You need to pass 2-year green card first lady. Current year is 2020, you have 3 more years for taking care your case. you won't know what will happen in your next 3 years.

Hello fellow journeyers,
Here's the situation: soft LUD on old USCIS website on May 15th, 2020 (before the N400 application was submitted) and the new website is still stuck at application received. Found out through a phone call to USCIS for something unrelated that it was transferred to NBC however, we never received a notice of action and they said one was never sent. After an additional phone call (for something unrelated) we were told it was still at NBC. The case is a few days away from 16 months.
I'm wondering if anyone has been in a situation like this and if anyone knows why exactly we would not have received a transfer notice. I have searched everywhere and cannot find anyone that has written about this.
Thanks all and good luck on your journey!
HaroldSoft LUD = No Notice Letter
Hard LUD = They will send you a letter

My questions is : willwill the report she sent to.immigration will hurt my waiver case ? She sent them report saying I mentally abuse her
She has to have report from police or anything to prove that. You need to protect yourself from divorce court by saying that she said was incorrect, that will be good for your application.

When you filed you were married, so you did nothing wrong. You provided enough proof that the marriage was bonafide to be approved without interview, which is the purpose of the I-751.
I would let sleeping dogs lie.
If i were you, i won't play games with USCIS. That will be high risk in the future. Who knows what will happen

I am trying to spare my wife from going to the interview. Hopefully there will be a RFE so I can submit it.
They always require at least one interview in US. i don't think they will skip it for you and your wife.

Thanks. Your advice sounds good. I will patently wait for them.
I just edited my reply. You might get an interview because you never have any interview in US, so you can show them the photos in an interview.

How do I re-submit these pictures, by that I mean that they did not supply me any reference number or NOA or any direction on how to direct my photos to the rest of my paperwork. Perhaps I need to wait for NOA? They still have not taken the money. I feel its better if they just return the whole thing, because I am confuse.
If i were you, i won't resend these photos. Base on your timeline i think you never have any interview in US so you will get an interview. Then you can show them your photos, that will be ok for you.
They will cash your money if they accept it. So wait and see.

So...I do not know how I feel about this...
Filed September 2019 with my back then husband. We separated February 2020 and our divorce was finalized one month ago. I hired an immigration lawyer to help me make the changes. TODAY I check the app and it says New Card is Being Produced. Now I should be happy and everything but I am most certain they approved it under the belief that we are still married. I reached out to my lawyer to see what she thinks we need to do but I literally opened the app, refreshed it and went WHAT?! And started crying....Not sure if I should be happy or concerned
Did your lawyer send letter to USCIS for changing to waiver yet? You can look at the approval letter to see they approved your case under jointly or waiver. If they did under married, they will ask again when you apply citizenship and i don't think it will be easier for you

I did not move or change address. What I mean is that with this transfer to a local office, does this mean it’ll be processed faster and in conjunction with my N-400? Did my N-400 filing had an impact, that’s why I got this update since my biometrics in February? ☺️
Sorry about misunderstanding. They transfer case for overload or adjurations, in your case i think they are setting up for your combo interview. That was my thinking

So, I have movement with my I-751. My case was transferred yesterday and new office has jurisdiction. I filed N-400 too last month. WAC filer here. What does this mean for my papers?
As you said about moving, that's why they transfer your case following your current location

Is there a published figure on how many I-751s % receive an interview?
My wife and I are coming up on filing Jan 2021. We have a kid together and also live with my stepdaughter/wife's daughter (she came on a CR visa after my wife adjusted), own a house and two cars together, all banking/finance/insurance in co-mingled, and had no issues at our AOS interview (adjusting from B2 visa).
Just curious how long its also taking now. Thanks!
USCIS only showed how many case were approved or denied, no interview rate but if you had interview when AOS already, you might not have interview on i-751.

Hi, I’d like to ask one more question and thank you in advance
I’ll file for divorce at the end of October which mean the divorce won’t be final until February in WA. Do you think it would be helpful if we file tax jointly for 2020? We only have 2019 joint tax!
You're on the way to divorce. Does not matter if you'll do taxes separately, or jointly

Anyone with experiences in how to property explain you did the taxes married but separately?
You can write an explanation letter. I put it in when i wrote explanation of divorce. Tell them why did you do that? That's it

Thank you so much! and yes I am from Vietnam as well. May I ask you a couple of questions - thank you in advance:
1. Did you use a lawyer for your case?
2. What is your good evidence if you don't mind sharing?
3. When did you file? I am worried that USCIS is strict now in terms of interviews!
1- No. Form i-751, it’s not hard to fill out. You can do it easily with your English.
2- I had joint lease with electric bills, both name on car title, joint bank, car insurance, pictures. That’s it. We don’t have any joint taxes.
3- i filed in Sep 2019 and got approved in August 2020 without rfe and interview from Texas center.
