As one poster said you have been given good information, but also, you need to check into his back ground to see if any trouble he got into if any before this conviction, do not just take what information he provides. Also you need to meet and know his family & friends. You need a lot of back ground on this guy before saying I do or even just him filing a fiancé' visa. You should truly do your homework on this man, see if you can read the court records on him on these charges. Make yourself think with your head & not just with your heart. Prisoner who are counting down the freedom days will do and say anything to a woman to have a place to stay when released. That just don't mean a place to sleep, but also financial support, employment to gain for him may not be easy to find with his convictions. Best wishes.

I saw this today, and it sort of startles me Taking longer then expected??? Houston shows as of today 7.5 Months processing. We had a bit of a hard time with his 10 year green card, but satisfied USCIS of what they requested to approve. Do yourself a favor, when you apply for the marriage license, don't call it a Informal marriage. -

Answer truthfully!! -
She wants to maintain her life in the US, as in a real loving marriage to you?, or just have a greencard , be single and wander back and forth? Be careful and think, being 13 year difference in age can sometimes be a red flag, but if the love truly is not there, USCIS can smell fraud. Plus you will be responsible for her financially if you do marry then divorce, just don't get her a greencard cause you feel you at least need to.

Yes, very lucky with my husband. He works hard, 1 full time job, manager at Walmart, his part time job, Team Leader Home Depot, works there so he can pay his own new 2024 truck payment instead of coming out of joint account, so he is not lazy at all. Very kind with me, would do anything for anyone, funny, very social, involved in the community youth soccer club, he is a volunteer coach, Not selfish at all, great Dog father, not bossy or demanding. Does not complain when I " waste money". I was blessed with him. Best wishes to you, Beth & Achraf I cant log into my current account, so using this one until I can get into current account.
