  1. you have to look at all of the forms involved. The children can be listed on the K-1. as well as the adjustment of status. It really depends on the forms and changes as the you come to those forms. The best thing to do is look at the current costs of the forms, then adjust by 1.10% a year for 4 years. by adding 10% for cost of fees going up, you normally are able to cover the costs expected. the big portion is your medical and embassy fees. Each child, unless exempted will need a medical exam. However, they may not need an embassy interview since they are following the mom. Te best thing to do is to tally costs. And know if they are over 2, your have to purchase airline tickets as well. As many cay on the costs. YMMV. don't forget you have to have enough income for all of them to come as well.

Thank you ! Where could I find the prices listed. I know it's $ 2,445 for just my fiance. How much extra for the children ?Where could I find the cost of the forms ?

  2. I was talking to a good friend of mine. When he was telling me long distance relationships, such as intercontinental one's, never work. He says on the foreign woman part, especially France, she's usually always cheating.

I am kind of scared after hearing one of my best friends say what he's said. This goes out to foreign women. Would a woman actually allow you to meet her parents, and yet be cheating ?

  3. People from FRANCE holding French Passport do not need a visa to visit US up to 90 days. Longer than that you need to prove that you have enough money to stay here for everyday expenses. Also an international health insurance may be required.

Why does she need a visa?

She was born in Djibouti, Africa (a small French speaking country in between Ethiopia, Somalia, and Eritrea). She's also a citizen of Djibouti.

  4. They sent me a pink slip saying I dont make the 125%. I was recently laid off from my job. I currently have a job that doesnt put me above the limit for three people.

I was wondering if I could get some working papers for my wife, so she can possibly help put us above that 125%.

I asked if they would send her working papers, but it seems as our process is frozen till I can show proof I make more then that 125%.

I've been looking for a job putting me above that limit, but it hasnt come thru for me as of yet.

Its not very fare, since my wife's visa runs out in two months

Please help me, or give me some idea s

  5. When compleing the I-864A, they agree to the following:

"Promise to provide any and all financial support necessary to assist the sponsor in maintaining the sponsored immigrant(s) at or above the minimum income provided for in section 213A(a)(1)(A) of the Act (not less than 125 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines) during the period in which the affidavit of support is enforceable;"

"Agree to be jointly and severally liable for payment of any and all obligations owed by the sponsor under the affidavit of support to the sponsored immigrant(s), to any agency of the Federal Government, to any agency of a State or local government, or to any other private entity that provides means-tested public benefit;"

Your parent(s) would have to sign the I-864A which means that they could be sued.

i make an extra 9,100 a year working for my mom. What are the ways I could claim it. Since she gives this money cash. I am planing to claim it at the end of the year. Should she write a note proving it ?

    yes

I just began part time work with her this year. So I didn't file last year. But she filed for her business. Do you think she should write a note stating she pays me ?

That would work - are you paying taxes on this extra income? It should be on your tax transcripts.

If your not paying taxes on it - then you have some explaining to do why not.

  8. Wow this situation is very, very dysfunctional. Tang you need a marriage counselor pronto & I'm wondering if a psychologist wouldn't be a bad idea either (some are both, maybe you can score a 2 for 1 deal). When I say 2 for 1 I don't mean a threesome with your wife & the latina chic either!

Dude ! Get your mind of the gutter ! My wife has male friends. I am enitled to have female friends. I am not looking to have sex with my female friends.

  9. Irrational? That doesn't make sense. Perhaps you meant to say that I misunderstood.

Your replies are kind of irrational because your typing like you've known me and my wife for years. It's not rational to think you understand our situation, as good as you think you do. You don't know my wife. Roght ! I you posted you don't understand... You don't understand our situation for someone to understand what went wrong, and why they went wrong they would have to be someone that close to us like family and our close friends.

When you've sat down and spoke to both of us, that would be the time to reply like you've been doing.
