Yes, normally somebody higher up has to sign off.
Even though it said card is ordered first. Then changed to interview must be reviewed?
-
Thanks to God our interview was completed and all went well. After interview I checked the apps out of curiosity and it said new card is being produced. I checked the uscis case status, lawfully, case tracker. They all said that. A few hours after it then changed to interview completed and must be reviewed. Is that normal?

Might be a waiver, good luck on your journey.

I saw a few from another site ***removed***, and they claimed to have gotten a waiver. From tourist visas. They had an interview, it was canceled, some said they got a rfe for more evidences then that’s it... update to i485 approved then gc mailed. So it’s not entirely impossible seeing this situation has never happened before. If cases are straightforward and waivers can be made I think we will. If they have sufficient evidences etc but on a cases by case basis. Offices might be closed for 3 months. Seeing that cases would be severely backed up.

Nothing for me either. But it seems October people are already getting ready to be scheduled for interview notifications. So maybe us November might be getting some action for the coming January

Yeah, I still cannot track any of my cases. I know USCIS did maintenance early this week and ever since neither the tracking nor the processing times page are working for me.
Use the one uptop to sign in. It shows more updates than the other sites.

Have not received it as of today. Per their instructions I will be calling them back. I was excited for a moment thinking things were moving forward.
Also their case status website is down, including their app. So I have no way to check there.
Try making an account and logging in through there. I was using the check case stats one and it would not load one bit. This is from Monday that I’ve been trying.

Alright - It worked this time. You motivated me to try again. Not sure why I missed the press 6 part last time. Seems like the microphone is sensitive and they reset often. Probably my own fault.
Thanks @Islandgirl93 and @JW93
UPDATE:
Biometrics has been scheduled
Yay keep us posted!! Happy to be of help.

Unfortunately even change of address has no option for a human. I don't think its possible to get a human on the line.
Change of address does get you to a rep. I use that option all the time

I'm living in South Carolina and mailed my documents to Chicago, IL.
I was just hoping if only the missing medicals are listed on the RFE then this means the rest is all good and I'm ready for Biometrics and then visa Interview.
I just haven't gotten my Biometrics and wonder if my petition is on hold until I send my medicals (which was not stated on the letter, only that my case is deficient and I will have to bring my medicals on the day of the visa interview).
I'm not sure if it's possible to call you for visa interview without having checked your criminal record using the Biometrics beforehand.
Ive been trying to call USCIS all morning hah
Yes please call an query and definitely update us.
-
Hi, where are you filing from? If the only rfe you received only pertains to the missing medical then usually you will be scheduled for your interview soon (or maybe not so soon) but it means they are working in your case and “reminding” you that you need to bring your medical to your interview. Also call uscis tomorrow to check about your biometrics appointment. I filed first week of November and did my biometrics last week.

Just updating: I had my biometrics appointment on Dec 6. Got there at 9:15 for our 10am appointment and was done by 9:45. The case status for my I-485 and I-765 were both updated to "Fingerprint Review Was Completed". Now we wait for a very long time. Unfortunately, I think we'll be getting a RFE because we sent the wrong tax forms so that'll add a few months to our wait time as well 🙃
If you have an idea of what the rfe is just put them together. If you should get the rfe just send the necessary stuff from all you’ve collected. The sooner you send it back the faster they start working back on your case.

Update;
My case status changed to “Notice was returned to USCIS because the post office could not deliver it”. After calling up twice over the past two weeks to ensure the right address was on file, it seems they sent out another notice (which I imagine is biometrics) AGAIN to the wrong address. It goes on to say this could have a severe effect on my case.
I called up to discuss this and they said they don’t know what the returned notice was, and to call back Monday to speak to someone higher up.
I’m at a loss for words, once is an accident, twice is negligence. Absolutely fuming right now.
That’s very unfortunate, But I’d do a change of address. I know they claim to have your actual address but just to clear have them update it. Also check with your post office. My lawyer had advised me to get a mail box at the post office. I doubt they could mess your mail up if it’s being left in the same building. Look into those options. We’re all humans and we make mistakes but sometimes so cause more damage than others

Thank you! I was able to get through with the "forms" option. The first representative disappeared mid call so I had to call back. The second representative transferred my case to a USCIS officer but the wait time was around 5 hours so I have requested a call back. Hopefully, they will be able to fax it to me! She also took down my email in case there is an option to email it but I am doubtful if they can do that.
Nice hopefully everything goes fine.

So I have been trying to call USCIS at this number 1 (800) 375-5283 and I am not able to get past the automated voice. Does anyone know the right number or option to get through to speak to someone?
Try the option to change your address then when the officer comes on explain your issue to her.
-
You can but it’s a real hassle. They take every one before you because basically it’s just your word until they find you in the system. If you have a decent photo you could print it off or call uscis and get it faxed. I forgot mine and used a photo I printed.
