    Hello VisaJourney Community,

I hope this message finds everyone well. I realized that amidst the whirlwind of joy and relief, I forgot to update you all on the conclusion of our journey—a journey that this incredible community has been a part of since its beginning in early 2019.

A little over four years ago, we embarked on this complex, sometimes daunting, immigration process. It's been a rollercoaster of emotions, paperwork, waiting, and more waiting. But today, I'm overjoyed to share that our journey has reached a beautiful conclusion.

My wife recently had her interview, which, to our pleasant surprise, turned out to be a combo interview for both the I-751 (Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence) and the N-400 (Application for Naturalization). The interview went incredibly well, and what happened next was something we hadn't dared to hope for—they approved her on the spot and conducted her oath ceremony just 30 minutes later!

To say we are happy would be an understatement. It's a mix of relief, joy, and a profound sense of gratitude. This moment marks the end of a chapter that started in early 2019, filled with paperwork, deadlines, and the anxiety that accompanies the unknown.

I cannot express enough how grateful we are for the VisaJourney community. Your advice, shared experiences, and words of encouragement have been a beacon of hope and a source of invaluable information throughout this process. Knowing we weren't alone, reading about others' experiences, and receiving direct support made all the difference.

As we celebrate this milestone, our hearts are full of gratitude for each of you who've been part of our journey. We wanted to share this joy with you and say a heartfelt thank you. Your kindness and generosity in sharing knowledge and support have truly made an impact on our lives.

To those still navigating your journey, please hang in there. The process can be long and challenging, but the outcome—this profound sense of accomplishment and relief—is worth every step. We wish you all the best of luck and hope that you too will soon share your success stories.

Much love and gratitude from us! Your support and guidance have been a guiding light in our journey, and we couldn't have done it without this community. Here's to all of you, to your journeys, and to the bright futures ahead. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

With warmest regards and endless gratitude, Moxman.

    Congratulations !!

    Hi all.

I have been a silent reader for a while now but was wondering to share my timeline as I applied for N-400 on 08/15/2023 with pending I751(applied in August 2022, 3 yr. rule). So far, the only update until today is case received and bio reuse on my N-400. Hey,

Anyone correct me if i am wrong but I firmly believe that you cannot become US citizen before anniversary, but i think you can get interview notice before anniversary.

I applied August 10th, my estimated time was 9 months and so far it dropped to 5 months until decision. Since that significant drop, i am hoping i can get interview scheduled soon. My anniversary is November 6th.

Found this on Google I didn't know this though Thank you guys for bringing this upScreenshot_20231003_122900_Chrome.thumb.jpg.d79bfc4f8fba6113b5782b169a65df1d.jpg

    Hey August filers,

are some of you that didn’t receive the interview notice yet seeing some reduction in the expected time online?

For the September filers we saw

    - people going from 16 to 10 after the biometrics reuse and case in active review.

    - then people going from 10 to 9

    - and now some see 7 months estimated

I was wondering if it was the same for you and how low it can get before the interview notice… Also are we certain that interview cannot be before anniversary (3 or 5 years) date?
    Or is it only oath?

Hi ,mine has changed twice from 9 to 8 and from 8 to 7 this week

Pending approval of my I-751, I sent in my N400 application online on September 9th. I was eligible to apply as early as August 5th. Received NOA and Biometrics Reuse online the following day, September 10th. And true enough, my I-751 as well as that of my K2 had some movements thereafter (VJ estimate was at May 2024 mark before I sent in my N400 application). Please find my timeline below for reference:

New Card is being produced: 09/12/2023

    Case was approved: 09/13/2023

Card was mailed to me: 09/20/2023

    Card delivered to me: 09/22/2023

Wao congratulations glad your Roc was approved hope mine gets approved too before my interview

    Hello everyone.

My case was received on 08/16/2022 and today I got the text message. The case status says:  On August 16, 2022, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number ......, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice.

Does that mean that is not accepted ? Check hasn't been cashed yet as well

What did your case status usually stated when they received it ?

I got the same today ,it was accepted!

Feeling like a dummy because I had the I-751 on my radar as needing to submit in August, but I thought it was just the form... not piles of evidence and a fee! I recently had a baby so I blame mom brain...

That being said, here is what I have collected for my package. Anything obvious I'm missing?

    - Check for fee

    - Completed I-1751

    Copies of:

    - permanent resident card

    - marriage certificate

    - son’s birth certificate (born this March)

    - health insurance with my husband and son on it

    - void check from shared checking account

    - account statements from shared checking and savings accounts

    - 401K listing husband as beneficiary

    - purchase & sales agreement for our house (lists us as co-owners)

    - IRS tax transcripts for years we've been married

    - motor vehicle purchase agreement (lists us as co-owners)

    - cards from family members and friends for engagement, holidays, baby

    - photos of us, our son, our family members over various years/locations (don't have a ton of photos of us together, plenty of our baby though including us with him at the hospital)

    - a few pieces of mail addressed to both of us, including cards from family, health insurance letter, and mortgage statements

Congratulations and good luck ,those are very strong evidence you are good !
