hi all, My parents interview is scheduled for this month for an IR5 interview. Unfortunately, I have lost my BC. Here is the kicker: I had two BCs . One was registered 5 years after my birth (normal in my birth country). Parents thought they lost it and applied for another. Due to the upgrade in the format and government structure changes, my parents were issued a new one. Same details but different registration number. I got an RFE for both birth certificates. I responded by providing the first birth certificate again with a certified english translation. Case was approved. Now that my parents are scheduled for an interview, I cant find the original BC. What should I do? Should I just have my parents take the second birth certificate? To make matters worse, I am from one of the 75 countries.
