That form is new and it seems like it's the cause for most RFEs or Rejections, Since that form became REQUIRED, i don't believe anyone has been officially approved. Unfortunately there is no "How to" example because no one knows what's right or wrong.  Read the instructions and ask questions if you have any.   Main items that I remember are, Education, Credit Score/History, Proof you speak English, Public Charge.

    My wife came to United State 3 months back and she do not have Credit score or Credit report. 


    This question about credit report is very confusing. I would really appreciate if someone can help me with this.

     

    1. Do you have a U.S. credit report?

    Yes. Provide a U.S. credit report generated within the last 12 months prior to the date of filing.

    No. Provide a credit agency report that demonstrates that you do not have a credit record or score.

  3. My case was rejected with a reason "The Payment amount is incorrect or has not been provided". I filed G-1450 and provided my credit card information and $1225 for (I-131, i-765, i-864). As far as I can tell credit card information I provided is correct. What could have gone wrong?

     

    Also, can I reuse the returned form(s) when I resubmit my application or do I need to startover everything?

    I would suggest you wait a little bit longer. I was in a similar situation of not knowing what to do with my wife and stepsons applications. 
     

    In our case they received the AOS packets on April 13th but we didn't hear back till May 28th. 
     

    It just seems in some cases it's taking a little bit longer than expected. 

    Thank you @uofaforlife, we will wait for few weeks before we reapply.

I'd still wait before considering re-applying, since I imagine if they are processing your first application that could then become very confusing, but I understand that's easy for me to say at this point, I know how frustrating this must be :( If you haven't already, could always ask the person over the call center line what they think you should do.

    Yes, Called them, they said application is not in their system. :(

    There is no clear answer here, although 1 month or so under current circumstances is not unheard either.

    Was the payment redeemed (i.e. check cashed, card charged, etc.)? Does the tracking number show it was delivered?

    Card has not been charged yet and Yes, tracking number says the packed was deliverd.

  8. We filed AOS April 27th. Packet was delivered on 29th April. As of today we haven't heard anything from USCIS. Card hasn't been charged yet. Called USICS and they said they do not have information about my case, ended up emailing lockboxsupport with a glimmer hope of getting reply but as of now there is no response. What are the options we have other than waiting for lockbox to reply? will lockbox reply to your email? if YES typically how long it takes for them to reply? should we refile? If we refile and our both packet gets accepted we might ended up paying double fee. Thank you for your advise.

You have a confirmation that your package was received by the Chicago lockbox (either from USPS or FedEx or whatever you used)? They have it. And once your case gets picked up, your "filing date" will be listed as the date they received it (i.e. we heard nothing until a few days ago, but now that it's there our is listed as filed on April 29). So no one will be out of status because you have already filed it, it's just not in their system just yet

    Thank you! I filed via USPS and it only says "Your item was Delivered" is there a difference between Delivered and Received? How do i know my packet was received by the Chicago lockbox?

    You can ask Emma for an Live Agent and she will connect you to a USCIS Representative and with a Little Bit of luck he/she can give you your receipt numbers if your forms are already in the system. That’s how I got my receipt numbers too . 

    Thank you! They do not have receipt number yet. I also emailed lockbox. At this time do i still wait for few weeks? refile? If i ended up refilling and they ended up accepting both forms i will have to pay fee twice. This is so confusing.

    I tried chatting with Emma and she doesn't sound very helpful. what you need to ask her to to find I-485 case number? she is asking me to email lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov to check the status of the packet. I sent email inquiring about the packet with the glimmer hope that i will get the response soon.

    I called today as well and i got exact same answer. My package was received on 15th of Jan. Hopefully we will get case number this week.
