Looking at vzk's post history, I think they file AOS in July 2019.
Yes. We sent documents in July 2019. We had an i 130 approved since 2015. Our case is a i 485 adjustment of status, marriage to an American citizen, not n-400, sorry.

Yes, July 2019.
We got the EAD a week ago (February) and now we have a date/time for the Interview in March. I was expecting at least 2 years to be done. What happened? We don't know.

Check the link above, also if you fill out your time you can get a guest image of the time frame also.
For EAD they are are currently working on March 9th. The waiting times just updates to 2.5 - 5 months.
Thank you very much. So four months since we are from July

We have great people in Flagler. Hoping for no problems. What did the ask for?
An original birth certificate or any form of ID with a picture issued from her home country (she got robbed in Miami a few years ago), with a non expired passport is more than enough.
She was just trying to give us a hard time. We have scheduled another appointment far away from that gentrification preference that I dislike so much and is veeery common here in Miami.

We just got the fingerprints appointment today. Sent package on July 5.
Went to DMV and some woman refuses to let my wife get their temporary driver licence, she asked for an additional paper that is really not needed. I called the main office in Tallahassee and they told me to try with a more friendly office (same as our lawyer). Do not go to Miami Gardens office, people are rude if you are not Haitian.

How does one get this early to pass for a DL in FL this early?
If you are getting AOS thru marriage, you must show your spouse certificate, bring originals and copies
12 hours ago, DanielPlainview said:LOL !! Holy smokes !!! When I went to FL, I handed them an expired out of state license and BOOM.....new one in 5 minutes. Was the easiest DMV trip ever. I figured she'd need her DL, passport and I-94. That is a lot of documentation.
Info is much appreciated........can you send the link where you found that? Will they require written or driving exams? My 89 year old mother with an expired license was, incredibly, not required to take either a written or driving exam. Maybe that's why car insurance costs a fortune in FL. 😄
That's because you already passed the first time driver test. There's a test for first time drivers (is about drugs, alcohol, etc) and you may complete this online before going there to take the written and practice test. This information was provided by our lawyer. I can send you her name via PM but you will have to pay for the consultation.

Hard to know but I think must be the same. At the DMV you will get different answers depending on the knowledge of the person. Ask your lawyer about it but I believe this must be very similar.

Required in FL to get a DL (2019)
To obtain a one (1) year temporary Driver’s License in Florida
You will need to bring the following ORIGINAL documents to the DMV:
· I-130 Receipt Notice or I-129F Approval Notice
· I-485 Receipt Notice
· Proof of Family Relationship to U.S. Petitioner:
o Spouse: Marriage Certificate
o Child/Parent: Child’s Birth Certificate
· Proof of Citizenship for U.S. Petitioner
o Original U.S. Birth Certificate
o Original U.S. Passport
o Original Certificate of Naturalization
· Your Valid Passport (cannot be expired)
· Your I-94 Entry Document (white card given at airport or printed out from the CBP website https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/recent-search). I-94 can be expired.
You need all of the above documents to prove valid immigration status at the DMV.
The process of understanding your rights to get a driver's license issued by the State of Florida may be complicated. One of the FL DMV requirement is to present a proof of social security number. But, an undocumented or out of status immigrant does not have social security. Correct? So, instead of presenting social security, the DMV will issue a driver's license if the individual presents any of the documents published on the FL DMV Acceptable Document Table. Please be aware that there are other requirements that must be met such as passing the writing and driving examination.
An undocumented or out of status immigrant is a foreign individual who does not have current legal status in the United States.
For example:
-If your entry without inspection or admission (i.e., without visa) AND you are in immigration procedures, you may qualify to apply for a driver's license.
-If you recently applied to adjustment of status (i.e. I-130+I-485) AND you have the I-797C receipt of both applications, then you may qualify to apply for a driver's license.
