I find your reply very rude and to be honest a reason why I don't come here much. There seems to a click and my past comments/questions have been ignored so yes, very clicky in a forum where we should be helping one another because we all have to go through the same process in some form or another. 

I filed the 129f and the 130 and neither have moved. 

Regardless, this has really left a  ad taste in mouth and will be unfollowing this website. 

Yes, speaking from experience. I filed the 130 first and then the 129f. Both are in Nebraska si nope, don't need to update my profile. We also have IOE which seems useless for those in Nebraska atleast. This process is so ridiculous. My husband has a job waiting for him in PA in the HVAC industry and we have been married almost 20 yrs, going over with 100k so we surely aren't going over unprepared or inexperienced heh.

Not necessarily true. We also filed the 129f and it got sent to Nebraska. 

Others that just filed 129f got sent elsewhere and not just Cali.

I thought I'd join this thread. I'm from Sweden and will have my K1 interview on March 12th, and medical on March 2nd.

 

Maybe hanging out here will be good for my peace of mind, I don't know, heh. I've been kind of nervous throughout this whole process. Nervous and impatient... 😶 I know that everything should be fine, but I miss my fiancé so much and don't want anything to delay the visa or anything like that.

 

Where in the process are you? Anyone want to tell me a little bot about their medical and embassy appointment just to calm my nerves?

Lucky you that you are towards the end. We filed in beginning of Aug. and still haven't gotten approval for the I-130 😔

We have the Nebraska service center. 

Just curious when did you file (PD) and which service center you received?

Hiya Emma. From Stavanger. or wellI moved to Stavanger to be with my hubby (almost 20 yrs now). Now it's time to move back to US. This process takes so damn long...

We filed in summer and it feels likes ages already.  😫

My husband and I chatted for less than a year online and phone before we met. I came to Norway one time. We married a month later after I arrived...that was almost 20 YEARS AGO! Our relationship has outlasted both my sisters marriages (who dated, had long engagements etc with their nkw ex husbands) as well as various other people we know so I really don't think you can say that. My husband was 22 and I, 25 when we married. He is an amazing man and we treat each other well and love each other.  

Yes, there are some people out there only looking to scam to get a green card but plenty of couples out there who actually love each other and know they want to be in it for the long haul.

We have been married 19 yrs so I sure hope they don't think we have chat logs from 1999/2000 etc. We included photos from various years, Facebook screenshots, proof of our life insurance, joint bank account in US etc. so I highly doubt they will think he just married me for a green card lol.

I've waited 8 business days so far and they said it would take 1 week or more. 

It seems slow and crappy mail service is on the rise in Scandinavia. I have seen people complaining in Sweden, Denmark and bere in Norway. I don't know what's going on but makes ya wonder how US, UK etc. can send out things and receive it in a few days. When I sent off the I130 from here..it took like 8-9 days just to leave the country. 

We haven't even got confirmation it arrived to the Chicago lockbox yet. If I atleast knew they received it...I would worry less.

I meant to say we sent it out in July not Aug.

Just curious how long it took for people to see their I-130 pack was received? We sent it out on 18th Aug. and it left Oslo on 23rd heading for US. We sent it *registered signed for* and still nothing. I called USCIS and they can't find us in the system yet and it has me concerned because there is a $535 money order in there! I know the process itself takes months but surely they should have received it by now!
