Hey guys I have a question. After port of entry will I get social security card mailed to me or will I have to go to local office to apply for it. I choose to get it mailed to me on DS260

Hey guys I have a question. Once NVC schudules the appointment and send the email with interview details do we have to call the nvc to confirm the appointment time and date.

Full 8 weeks than my documents got reviewed

I submitted my documents on Nov 1, still waiting for a response from them. I'm thinking to believe its would be next week since there was Thanksgiving break and couple of snow days that could make it to 7 weeks instead of 6 weeks. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed and praying that I get DQ from them by the end of this week!

They accepted all my documents and needed me to submit full tax transcript because I just uploaded tax account transcript which is just one page summary of tax documents

I to resubmitted my tax transcript on Nov 1 and haven't heard anything from them. All they say when I call is that the documents are in cue to be reviewed.

Hey guys I have a question, so my wife since her birth to the day we got married had no last name. She got married to me legally but has not changed her passport, now the nvc is referring to her name as FNU as they consider her first name as last name. Why does the nvc do this and why can't they use my last name as her last name. Is changing the passport the only solution to this problem. I have provided evidence such as my marriage certificate to nvc

Hey guys, I have a question. So I'm at the nvc where I uploaded all my documents in Ceac last month on Sept 20 and since uploading documents all I can see it says its submitted. Does anyone know how long it takes for it to change to accepted. It is already being a month since my submission and all the time when I call NVC they tell me to check the web site for processing time. Has anyone had the same experience like me.

Any January fillers over here who have recieved there case number from the NVC. I called the nvc today and the customer representative told me that the nvc is backed up. Than she said due to the holidays the nvc have become super slow! My case has been with them for 4 weeks now! They did said it may take up to 8 weeks to get case number. This is super frustrating

The case tracker app and the USCIS website shows we've been approved. No update on myuscis.

NOA1 end on November CR-5 Texas SC.

How did you get that information by taking to a customer representative? I called uscis and the customer rep told me that they cant give such information whether my case was opened or not
