Same! Not sure why they’re delaying it so much. I doubt they’re looking at the COVID cases because from what I heard, the number of cases have gone down significantly in Pakistan.

As i am visiting in Pakistan, there’s no Covid-19 here at all. The whole country is wide open. The only thing closed is that us embassy Islamabad

    Congratulations !

In our case, eventhough, our file was still "at NVC" on NVC's website this morning...

I have just received the interview email !!! 👍 It is set for July 22nd in the morning.

I am very happy (of course) and anormally calm about it (I think I have not processed the news).

    😋

Is it in Islamabad? As I am also waiting for my wife’s interview. They have already cancelled our early April scheduled interview.

@AtifM well I could go ahead and make a youtube video about the end of the world just to get subscribers....what am saying is there is no credible valid source for what you saying....Youtube videos are no source at all

He’s a world famous immigration lawyer and very much on top of this current situation and pretty accurate and one of the first ones to share the news. Other then that, I agree what you’re saying but let’s just hope for the good.

I wish all my fellow members of this painful journey and hopefully things will settle down soon

I am in the US but my wife is in Pakistan. Her NVC docs were approved early March and the interview was being scheduled by the embassy in Islamabad. I'm assuming all that froze when the US directed embassies to cease visa interviews mid-march.

Now that the order is passed, I'm wondering how that will impact CR1 interviews internationally.

I am in the same situation as yours. Uscis is planning to reopen within US and not international offices. No one knows as of yet when they will  reopen. Yes, cr-1 interviews will be rescheduled as the embassies reopen.

You're always going to get a piece of mail no matter what. Unless they have your address wrong. If you got your NOA1 then they got it right. The text and email might or might not always happen. I'm on that boat that it never happened even though they got my email and number and the form for e notification.

So you can always count on the USPS giving you a letter from USCIS.

    Gotcha, Thanks!!
