    Our AOS interview on Jan 13 was very successful, thank you all for your support. Jones, our interviewer, didnt even ask us anything except how we met and our occupations. That was all.. The only problem was that we forget that I needed extra vaccine shots, TD to be exact. Luckily we were able to find a US INS Civil Surgeon, a walk-in clinic in Downtown LA, to get the shot done and only cost $70. After our interview, we got the necessary shots and came back Jan 14 to get the approved conditional visa. Jones was kind enough to update our status in their system, so we also got the USCIS letter stating we were approved and that we only now wait for the actual green card. CRIS also sent an email on the spot so its all updated in USCIS. Yipee, no more USCIS for another 18 months.

    I have done this many tiimes, >25.

    When she leaves the plane she needs to take all her personal belongings and carry-on bags. Yes even if the next flight is the same number

    Then follow the signs to international connecting flights.

    She will go back through security. They will want to see her passport and a boarding pass or ticket to the next international flight. In her case this is boarding pass showing her flight to the POE in the US.

    After security she will then need to look on the flight information board for her next flight # to see the gate and the departure time.

    She needs to be at the gate 1 hour prior

    She's right :thumbs: I just arrived here in the US last Jan. 17 and my flight was NW #2 with a stopover in Narita. Just tell her to follow the sign for connecting flights.After security she can check which will be her gate number for her connecting flight among the monitors ( mine was gate 22).     i received today the Welcome Letter from the USCIS and last Dec 11, day after our AOS interview, i received an email from CRIS for card production ordered! AWESOME!!!

    thanks a lot for all the people who helped us on this AOS process! the term thank you is not enough to let you know how much we appreciate all your help, support, assistance and prayers thru this AOS process.

    hopefully the card will arrive before as a great xmas gift! again, our warmest thanks!

    for those who are still waiting, let's remember that God will always provide. just do your best and pray hard.

    Congrats on your successful interview and receiving your card production for green card. Our interview is coming up on Tues, Jan 13 at 145pm. Hubby and I are now preparing the docs needed. I've been so busy with work but now I finally got to relax after passing my NCLEX and is now practicing for my DMV drivers license. I've had the driving permit for nearly 9 months, but only started to drive with lessons just last week. I just got done driving hubby around for 2 hrs and says that I seem ready to take the driving test. I plan to have two more sessions before my exam and hope to take my driving test before February.     For those who are waiting, I know it is depressing, I even thought this day will never happen, but it did! Yaaayyy!

    My visa is out for delivery today, will let know once I received it. Will have to attend the CFO and do few more things before leaving, Jeff is expecting me to finish up everything until tomorrow and fly this weekend yaaayyy... GOD WILLING...

    I have a question though, when I filled up forms (I think during the medical), I have written DETROIT since NWA has a direct flight to DETROIT. Now we could not find a cheap flight direct to DETROIT, instead I will need to stop somewhere like San Francisco CA. Will it cause some problems at the POE?

If you can't make it this weekend sabay na lang tayo sa next weekend.My flight back to the US is on Jan 17 at NWA din ang airline ko. Yung nga lang Minneapolis ang POE ko :( . Don't worry about the info you wrote in one of the forms during your medical. I wrote Minneapolis in there but my actual POE was LAX. Have a safe trip and Happy Reunion with Jeff!!! :dance:
