Hi all,
I slowly prepare the papers for the interview and I look at what are the compulsory vaccines on the embassy site and something escapes me ...
I updated my vaccines according to the list of Dr. Jolly (one of the two doctors accredited by the embassy) but I see on the embassy site that hepatitis a and hepatitis b, rotavirus and again another are to do while on the doctor's list they are not there but in the list for kids from 12 to 19 years old
I know these are vaccines that I had when I was in school and I lost my health record years ago to prove it
I have already had a blood test to see what I was immune to and I have had the vaccines accordingly. ( list from 19years old )
But now I see that and nothing but to think that we will have to have a blood test or vaccines again I laugh less ..I had three vaccines and blood tests in 1 month so not very keen.
Could someone light my lantern?
Thanks in advance 🙏
Hello,
My husband and stepson strictly followed Dr. Jolly's list and everything was ok. the little one had to get vaccinated for hepatitis B meanwhile my husband didn't.
I hope this helps

Congrats on your approval. 🥳🥳
I was wondering how you checked your status because neither on the CEAC website nore on https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-fr/iv
I’m able to see any changes in my status. I’m still at the « appointment » stage on the second website.
It’s been two weeks since my approval and I haven’t received anything and had any news, I’m starting to panic. Maybe I missed a step I don’t know.
Hello,
I checked on CEAC..
hope you hear back soon

Hi Everyone,
My husband and stepson had their interview yesterday January 22nd at 9:30 am.
We showed up at 9 am, passed security and my husband wiated on line to speak to an officer. It took about 45 minutes.
The first officer asked for all the required documents and told us to wait in the waiting room until they called our name. We waited for about 30 min.
They called their names, I went with them to the window, the officer let me stay for the interview.
They asked us how we met? They asked a trick question about one of our sponsors? if we had other kids?
We had brought a pile of photos and two photobooks, the officer didn't ask to see them.
He first announced my husband was approved, then he checked some documents for my step son and about 5 min later told us his visa was also approved.
The officer told us their visas would arrive in a week... I checked today and CEAC says one of them is issued and the other being processed.
We left the embassy at about noon.
:) :) :)

Hey,
Everything is explained on this website https://www.english-doctor-paris.com/visa-medicals/usa-visa-en
the price is 240€ + X-rays (60€) and blood/urine (56€)
it is different for small children (explained into the website)
You can have the appointment without IL - you need NVC case but you have to enter USA within 6 months after your X-rays so it is smart to wait to book medical when you have IL. Otherwise if you have some delays you will have to do the medical (and x rays) again - I decided to take the risk
Thanks,
yeah that’s the site I’ve been using but there is no info on the price of medical exams for a child.
Otherwise it’s a great help for all the vaccinations required 👌
My stepson was DQ’d in October and my husband was just DQ’s on the 6th of december. We hope to be getting an interview letter soon!

The good part with Dr Jolly website is that she realizes how frustrating and expensive the whole process is and really tries to make it easier for us, but of course by following rules dictated by US embassy.
Her website is up to date and when I got there she still didn’t receive my X-ray results - she sent WhatsApp to a doctor and obtained them within 5 min from that moment !
Also, my doctor took vaccinations sheet and put vaccination dates / immunization tests next to each requirement and signed. This was enough for Dr Jolly even though I did carry on my carnet de santé and immunization records.
So, just follow her website and you will be fine!
Hi,
What is is the price for a medical exam? Does anyone know if Its the same for small children ?
Did you get your IL ? How do we get an appointment without it ?
Thanks

Got a IL for my stepson CR2 this morning, interview date is for Dec.4 in Paris! What a joy!! The waiting time for his IL after DQ was 15 days.
However, still no IL for my husband CR1, he was DQ’d on 10/01, so it’s 44 days of waiting already.
Both cases are linked. It does not make sense to me at all, why NVC is being “ignoring” my husband’s case🙄
Hi,
Maybe try calling NVC about this, or the embassy.
How did you get IL ? In the mail?
my stepson was DQ’d in October 25th, I’m waiting on my husbands DQ....
best of luck !

Not CC’d yet haha still uploading docs on CEAC...
Was just curious... trying to get a better picture of how NVC is moving along ...

Hey everyone,
does anyone one know how long it’s taking to get an interview letter from Paris embassy after CC?
Thanks

He had his Carnet de santé and we met up with our family doctor before the medical visit to make sure everything was up to date and done accordingly to dr Jolly’s list.
I am not sure whether or not he had been vaccinated for hepatitis b. They both got flu shots and he was up to date on his tetanus shot.
