please tell me from which state? did you have an interview on the first GC?
SC. And yes, my husband had done an interview in Argentina in 2017 when he got the 2 year green card.

We had applied back in June 2019. When my husband went in January to get a new stamp on his i-551, we were informed they didn’t even have his file in the field office. Less than a month later, we got a notification his interview was scheduled for March 10. Went in today, had a five minute interview, and approved! The case officer actually apologized after the interview and said when he looked at the file today, he was going to call us and cancel it as we were 100% approved and he didn’t know why NBC had received it and sent for interview but he figured we were already on our way driving there . He also advised my husband he could apply for citizenship at any time.🙂

We filed in June 2019. It’s been “ready to be scheduled for an interview” since Oct 2, 2019. Nothing.

Ah..I knew that was case for primary sponsor, didn't realize it was the case for secondary sponsor. Thank you.

..but I don't!
When we did our initial CR-1 application (overseas), the embassy asked us for an additional working sponsor in the US as neither of us was working even though we had ample assets to meet the requirements. My brother signed as additional sponsor and GC was issued without problem. We are now ready to be scheduled for an interview to remove conditions. Am I correct that once 10 year GC is issued, my brother will no longer be responsible?
Thank you!

I just checked for the first time in a month or two and saw the following from earlier this month - yay!
Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview
As of October 2, 2019, we are ready to schedule your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number MSCXXXXXX, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

My husband received his extension letter within a week - I wouldn't worry about it - you should receive in plenty of time (unless package is rejected for any reason).

Not yet. I'm hoping we don't have to have one. I read somewhere that not everyone does. Is that true? Also, how did you receive notice that you had receive a biometrics appointment?
My husband got a letter with his appointment time/location.

Nice ... what is your processing center ?
We got sent straight to MSC (no idea normal or not). I’m actually surprised we’re doing biometrics again but no big deal.

Has anyone else already gotten their biometrics appointment? We filed first week of June, credit card was charged the 7th, we got our receipt and 18 month extension the following week and he is going to Charleston on Tuesday, July 2 for his biometrics appointment. I'm (happily) surprised how quickly this is all going.

You can use same evidences but I doubt they will consider birth certificates as good enough evidences. For ROC they are looking for more solid things like financial documents, taxes, bills, shared health insurance, etc.
Oh yes. I’m submitting all of the new evidence such as joint credit cards and checking accounts, beneficiary info, pictures, property purchases, etc. However I keep reading on children being a key evidence and as I said we had already submitted that evidence previously so just didn’t know if I should resubmit that in addition to all the other current info. Thank you.

Waves. I'll be mailing off the package tomorrow so just officially a May filer

HI All
We were married overseas in 2016 (we have been together since 2010). When we went through the original approval process, we submitted a huge amount of evidence including the birth certificates of our children, family pics, etc. He was awarded his conditional residency in Argentina, officially entered into the US on July 5, 2017 and we're doing the i-761 now. Do you think I should resubmit some of the evidence we did for the first visa (ie, children's birth certificates, etc).Thank you!!

I wanted to give everyone an update. We had applied June 4, 2019. It’s been “ready to be scheduled for interview since Oct 2019. In January 2021, my husband went for an info pass to get a new stamp. At that time they took his conditional green card and told him his file has not yet in the office for an interview so didn’t know when interview would be. But less than a month later, we got a notice for an interview for March 10. We went yesterday to Charleston for the interview. The entire process was less than five minutes and he did not even ask for or look at the additional information I brought. Post interview he actually apologized and said when he looked at the file, he was going to call us as he didn’t know why it was even sent for an interview. He also reminded my husband he could apply for citizenship at any time. It was a very very pleasant experience.
