Just received out petition approval notice in the mail. I filed I-130 only,

 NOA2: 10/ 30/2019

 Case sent to NVC 😀

yeah, we should have done that instead. We wanted to make it more presentable that's why we used photo books.

 

will that affect our process? we haven't received our NOA1 yet.

Since they returned just the album and not the entire file/application, I assume there should not be any problem. My NOA came in 25 days later. I had to call and speak with level II representative to confirm that they received my package. So you may call and find out.

Hi, did you send the actual albums with photos ?

You should have rather sent prints outs on regular paper. I had printed out photos using windows photo viewer where you can print several photos on one page. They accepted those.

Who signed for it ? the tracking should have first initial. Last name usually

Called USCIS and spoke to level II officer after being on hold for 84 mins. Finally got a confirmation that application was received and case number assigned. What a relief !!

It’s been 20 days since Phoenix lockbox received my application, have not yet received NOA1, no text or email, even the check has not been cashed. should I be concerned that they lost my application? It was delivered as per USPS tracking. I called USCIS, they told me to wait 30 days before any enquiry. Even sent an email to the lockbox. That will put us behind a whole month if they have lost the application. Has anyone else had such situation?

Apr. 30 - Mailed I-130 to Phoenix lockbox 

May 2 - Delivered 

May 15 - No update yet

They don't seem to find my application.  They going to give a call back within two-three days.
