My wife's case has been stuck in Ready status since her interview (Feb 7, 2020). She was approved but was later asked to submit her old passport. Since then no updates. We sent the inquiry to embassy and their response document received but haven't been reviewed yet . I'm thinking of filing a WOM. Do you know how long you need to wait for it before you can file it?

Thanks... It was james hacking..and he charged $4000 plus $100 consultation fee. You should at least wait a year before filing but you can consult with lawyer for further information.

yes I filed WOM in March. They asked for re-medical and visa photos at 2nd interview.

Hey guys, the US embassy Islamabad just issued my husband's visa today after 2 years of being in AP.

Actually I also did WOM and waiting for OATH since march, embassy continues giving me extentions, they even don't reply to my queries ☹️

I thank everyone who helped me stay calm and patient. But I truly believe that they would have kept us waiting for another 2 years if I did not file WOM through my lawyer.  

 

I wish everyone good luck and I hope you all reunite with your family members soon. This was a very long and hard journey for us.

Hi, after how many months did they give decision on your case ? 

Does anyone know when the embassies are reopening ? 

The status administrative processing changed to "refused" that's all. As it's written in the description " If you were informed by the consular officer that your case was refused for administrative processing, your case will remain refused while undergoing such processing" .

They haven't replied to me either this month.

To know if your AP is complete, your AP status will say mailed or available if not complete it will be mailed/available
