Yes you can send it later, but you need to attach a proof that you filed the I-485, so you don't have to pay the fee.

    Check this: https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-form-i-765-with-other-forms

I also recommend you that you file I-131, travel permit

That is awesome! Thank you for the information!

True! He needs to attach the NOA1 to waive the fees right?

Ohhh okay, so I will wait for the NOA1.

Oh thank goodness!!!! One less thing I have to worry about! That is fantastic news! Thank you so so much!!

Those questions are only referring to the beneficiary.

Do note that there's a recent nationwide injunction that temporarily blocks the I-944 requirement:

I still haven't seen anything regarding this injunction on uscis.gov: https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-processes-and-procedures/public-charge

That is great information!! That is exactly what I needed! Thank you so much for your help!  I will research the blocked some more as well! Thanks!

  4. I am so confused filling out the I-944. When they ask the following questions, are they asking them of the petitioner or the beneficiary.

Do you have have a credit score?

    Do you have bad credit?

Have you ever filed for public benefits?

For example, due to my work having furlough days, me as the petitioner, has been receiving supplemental employment benefits.  Do I need to report that?  Or, are they asking if the beneficiary has received benefits?  So confusing!

I am so tempted right now to shell out an extra $1,000 to have RapidVisa help me.  Has anyone used them for the AOS for a K1 Visa Holder?

  5. God is so good! He saw us through every step. Everything went perfectly and I know it will for you too!

That would be awesome! Let's plan on it! I will send you my Facebook as well.

Hello everyone. It's been a while. I'm happy for those who are now in the US with their fiance's. We're praying for a smooth travel too. So much cancellations and rebookings done and we get confirmation at long last. We will fly to manila from Gensan this coming July 20, stay at nearby hotel for 2nights and on July 22 we will be flying from manila to Incheon then to LAX. The  from LAX to chicago. We got our medical clearance certificate and travel pass authority. It took us 1day to finish. I'm bringing my 5y.o son with me. They said that below 18y.o are not allowed to travel. But since my son is included in he has K2 visa then they gave him a medical clearance. But not on the travel pass. Hopefully God willing since travel ban is lifted already we pray for a smooth transition. I need your prayers guys. Thank you

And you guys have your CFO also completed?

Praying for you guys! I read on PhilStar that they are opening things up for tourism. It's really encouraging to see articles like this:

Can't wait to hear your success story!!!  I still would love to setup a Skype celebration party for September.  Let us know as soon as your son and fiancee land!!   You guys are almost there now! How exciting!!

God is so good! Nope she had a perfect transition through each country!  No questioning, it all went smooth. We had planned to fly out on July 18th but because the numbers are growing we moved it up to June 30th. It cost me about $60 to make the change. We did our CFO the day before her flight in Manila and they gave her the cert at the office. The CFO staff are so great, they made sure we had everything we needed for the next day flight. Praying for you guys!! Everything will be okay! Let me know if you have any questions!

Another bit of advice is make sure to go to your local municipality and get a health cert for everyone making the trip even the driver. It is only good for a single trip. It takes an hour to 2 hours to obtain it. Also, when you are travel make sure to download your GPS maps offline in case you run out of load or something.

The travel restrictions are confusing to figure out! Did anyone flying into Korea have any problems? Did you have to take Covid test 3 days prior or anything like that.  It's so hard finding any information on travel restrictions online.

Sounds like we are good to go. I called Canada and they said that we are able to transit not problem with a K1 Visa. We also got our CFO today in Manila. Praying that our flight and travels go well tomorrow.  I will keep you guys posted for sure!

There are ways to get in touch with CFO. you can check CFO website for announcement updates at https://cfo.gov.ph. They actually have all info there for your FAQ. You can add their FB account "Commission on Filipino Overseas" and you can talk with them thru FB messenger for more or clearer details. They replied my queries right away before. CFO is for OFWs, partners (spouse/fiancee) for US, Japan and other countries. When you register online, they have options such as spouse, partner etc. Maybe try to explore their website so you will know what to do next. :)

I have a ticket for my fiancee to fly from Canada to Seattle. It looks like from their website that they are not allowing non-immigrants to travel. AHHHHH! Did you fly direct from Korea to the US?

  12. 1 hour ago, JonSeattle said:

No, you don't need an NBI  to travel. The NBI was just for the embassy interview. The embassy must have noticed after the interview that the one my fiance gave them at the interview was over 6 months old. The airline might require a health certificate, and if you leave through clark there will be an exit fee.

Ok fantastic! Thank you so much!!
