I didn't see the second part of your response.
I am not sure about validity duration. I think as long as your visa is valid till the interview date you are fine.
But I have to renew my residence visa because it expires in mid June and my interview is going to be in July. So I am going to renew it soon.
Its not required

Hi all, I have CC on May 2nd, and am scheduled to get interview notification next monthfor a july date (not a busy consulate). Once I get a interview notification, can I request consulate directly for a june date instead of july. Has anyone ever successfully preponed an interview date?
Not possible:
Please do NOT send us an email asking about your appointment date, as that will slow down the process. If you have been informed by NVC that your petition has been approved, please do NOT email us asking for an appointment date. You will be informed by NVC when your appointment is. It is NOT possible to move appointments to an earlier date. To change the date of an already scheduled appointment, please check the reschedule appointment option from this same website.

When did they notify you?
May 3
Do you know if there is any minimum requirement for the validity of your UAE visa for the interview?

It was confirmed by telephone CC after 2 weeks, but confirmation email came after 3 weeks.

Thanks for your reply. I woild be fine with Abu Dhabi as I live in the UAE but I read that in the past, I took way longer than Paris to get the interview date. Things seem to be way better now so I was wondering if people who had their interview in Abu Dhabi recently could let me know about their experience.
Which one did you choose? Did you find out about delays at Abu Dhabi?

I sent a copy of the UAE visa with the docs to NVC as I was told it was needed to prove legal residence in the country you wish to attend the embassy.

I know someone in EB-5 who got interview date on April 5
What was their CC date?

I don't understand. Interviews are set by category and Priority date and CC.
I know someone in EB-5 who got interview date on April 5, while another person in IR-1 got it April 12. I am not sure about eb3. But I believe you will get a June interview date.
Somebody on another thread said NVC said as long as the priority date was current everything is assigned on a case closed date.
I wondered if the embassy allocated a different amount of slots each day for each category, even so we would not know the backlog.

No waiting at Abu Dhabi, usual like others. different EB categories have different priorities, which one is yours?
Eb3 CC 19 April.
I thought the interviews were scheduled based purely on CC and not category.

Any updates on the case closed scheduling for Abu Dhabi?
And does anyone know if family based applications get priority over EB? Or do they have a certain amount of interview slots allocated each day for each type?

What extra documents did they request? I was hoping everything on the checklist would have everything covered.
