Congrats, how long did the interview letter take to arrrive after the online case status change ?
The case status hasn't updated online (we just checked this morning). We filed the I-485 in early June and the notice of action telling us that the interview is scheduled was dated Sept. 11. Just seems so fast

My husband and I filed our I-485 in June along with our applications for work authorization and advanced parole. Today we received our interview date for the I-485 (we will interview on Oct. 16). We weren't expecting to have the interview this year since we only filed three months ago. We're super happy, just surprised! Is anyone else having a similar experience?

My partner arrived in the US using a K1 visa on 3/18/2020. We got married soon after and filed our Adjustment of Status packet within 90 days of his arrival. We received our NOA 1 on June 18, 2020, but we have not yet received information regarding his biometrics appointment. I'm assuming this is because of Covid-19 delays, but I'm worried we're missing something. Are others experiencing delays with their biometrics appointment? Thank you!

We were about to send our adjustment of status packet and on the last moment (late april) we found out about the form I-944, I really appreciate having your contributions on this difficult form and feel more calm that we are a community helping each other.
Has any of you been able to use one the organizations listed for the evaluation of equivalency up to this day? if so, which one did you use?
I haven't been able to figure out how to get a credit score or have some sort of proof that I can not get one. Due to COVID-19 i can not get a Social Security Number and since I moved here to the US about two months ago, to be able able to get a credit score/report is not clear that Is necessary to be here at least six months or two YEARS.
Once again, Thank you so much!!

For the K1 Affidavit of Support, can the letter from my employer be the signed offer letter I received just before beginning employment? I recently started my job (August 2019) and the offer letter provides all the information that's asked for (on company letterhead, showing the annual salary, etc.)
Thank you!

Hi there! Does anyone have examples of the letter their bank provided for the Affidavit of Support? It would be helpful to see what others have submitted, as I'm having a bit of trouble getting exactly what I need from my bank. (For context, it's a statewide credit union, not one of the bigger banks).
I sent my bank the following message:
"I am in the midst of filing a I-134 form (Affidavit of Support) for US Citizenship and Immigration Services. As supporting evidence, I am required to obtain and submit a signed statement from an officer at my bank with deposits, identifying the following details:
- Date account opened,
- Total amount deposited for the past year, and
- Present balance"They responded saying that they could provide the letter with date the account was opened and the present balance, but that they couldn't provide the total amount deposited over the last year. They offered, instead, to provide my bank statements from the last 18 months. Would this be a permissible substitute? Is there something else I can do to get this information from my bank?
Received our interview date far quicker than expected
