That's not the green card processing fee / those are NVC fees we pay to process AOS and ds 260 application / we pay those before interview
there is an actual green card fee
i gave u the link to see how to pay
the green card will not be produced till this $220 is paid
. The USCIS Immigrant Fee is $220.00.
Thank you for all your help. Can I change my address when I submit the payment ? My lease is up next month and I need to add a new address.Or I have to do it separately

I paid 120 + 325 , Is there additional fee I need pay ?

the visa itself expires 6 months from date of interview
I heard of one other person who got the same notice printed with just admitted date/ it was because they did not pay the green card fee before coming and it can't be processed till the fee is paid
https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-fees/uscis-immigrant-fee
I already paid the fee before she receive the notice for interview. Now days you can not schedule the interview in the US embassy before paying all the fees in the NVC site.

Her stamped visa works as a GC.
If expired, she just needs an I-551 stamp from her USCIS field ooffice
Your mother's one should be good until October 2022.
But the stamped visa says :"Admitted October 2021" no expiration date. Her IR5 visa expired in Nov 2021 (it was only valid for 6 months). If she leave the country can she get back by showing her admitted October 2021 visa ? Can she travel to Canada with that ? Thanks

Ideally it should take 90 days from entry or 90 days after the fee was paid if you paid after entry. Unfortunately some people wait almost 2 years to get the GC. Sad but true.
Hopefully it is not your case, but delays are very common.
Thank you for your input. What I do I need to inquiry ? Is the general USCIS phone number is helpful or is just a waste of time. She will need to travel ASAP and I need to get this done.

My Mother arrived in the US late October 1, 2021 based on IR5 visa. No Green Card received yet. I thought I should have her Green Card by now. What do I need to do ? Any Advise

Yes, since your case is Family-Based preference category. There is currently a ban affecting your case until either Biden ends it or March 31, 2021; whichever occurs first. https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2021/01/06/2021-00039/suspension-of-entry-of-immigrants-and-nonimmigrants-who-continue-to-present-a-risk-to-the-united
Thanks for your reply. But My mother was approved in June 2020 , I guess Covid-19 backlog

I received this email for my mother on Jun 6th 2020 :
Dear XXXXX ,
The National Visa Center (NVC) received all of the fees, forms, and documents that are required prior to attending an immigrant visa interview at a U.S. Embassy/Consulate General overseas.
NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in RIYADH, SARB to schedule an interview appointment for you. Once we have confirmed an interview date, we will send a notice to you, your petitioner and attorney (if applicable).
Please do NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until you have received an immigrant visa from the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General.

It has been over 6 months with no word from the embassy or NVC. Is this normal ? Anyone with the same situation ?
-
Do I need to call the NVC every week ? I am getting mixed views if the calls help to push the review of the my case
-
1) Is it normal for NVC to ask for Marriage certificate when you sponsor parents ?
2) Under the state department website my Country of Origin doesn't issue a police certificate. Is it OK to mark unavailable ? Should I explain why under comment ?

You still have not filled out your timeline so we don't know which country you are from. Fill it out, it will help to answer the questions and that way you are also helping the community by being a part of the statistics.
Once the case number is created, you have to pay the fees. It should take about 3 days to process and then you can start uploading documents. Nobody can tell how fast this is going to be. They are working on documents submitted on Sep 12.
On average, it is taking 4-6 weeks for documents to be reviewed. Our took 6 weeks while some people here got approved in a day!
Once all documents are accepted, you will be in queue for Interview. Some embassies are heavily backlogged, so it all depends on your country. That is why we need to know your timeline.
Immigration is not fast...you will need to be patient.
Thanks Swadesfan for your response. I updated my time line and did receive the NVC email today. I logged in and I see the payment information. My mother suppose to schedule for an interview in Saudi Arabia .
Any one with experience with the US embassy in Saudi Arabia time line ?

From the day uscis notifies you till the day NVC sends ur invoice email usually takes about 6 weeks at least.
On 11/1/2019 at 4:41 PM, Swadesfan said:This shows the current cases they are processing. Normally it takes 4 weeks from the day they receive it, not the shipment date.
Thanks .. Then after creating the case and going over the NVC process until interview. Is it fast process if I have all the papers ready ? How long will take to schedule interview ?

I received notification from USCIS that my I-130 for my parents transferred to NVC. It has been 3 weeks no words on any other step. How long will take before I hear from NVC ?
