  1. I'm sorry to hear that, but we got the same problem too. My fiance sent out ours on the 2nd, and they tried to deliver it on the 3rd, around 10am, and it was not recieved. So the status then was: Notice Left. I called USPS, and they told me they actually left a notice in the PO Box to tell them that they have a package left in their counter. What that counter is, I don't know. And so the next morning, on the 4th, around 5:46AM, a guy MS recieved our package.

If I were you, I'll call USPS to find out what's wrong. Coz they only hold it there for 5 days, and if delivery is still unsuccessful, they will return to sender. Good luck and hope everything turns out fine for you! :)

  2. I mailed my packet to TSC on March 20th and it was received on March 23rd. I asked for tracking delivery confirmation from the post office. I wonder if you might have written the address incorrectly. (?) What was the PO Box number that you sent it to? I sent mine to PO Box 850965. Double check and see if that might be the problem. I hope all turns out well for you! Good luck!

We're sure that the address is correct, it's P.O. Box 850965. We asked for delivery confirmation too. I just hope they recieve it tomorrow, thanks for the good thoughts sent our way! :)

  3. Hey all,

We just had our package sent via USPS Express to TSC, which has been delivered this morning, but according to USPS's Track and Confirm, the status is: Notice Left. We attempted to deliver your item at 10:33 AM on April 3, 2007 in MESQUITE, TX 75185 and a notice was left. A second delivery attempt will be made. If unsuccessful, we will hold it for five business days and then it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

I'm confused, as we specifically asked for NO Signature, since it's a PO BOX, so how do we know for sure when is TSC gonna receive it? We really don't want our packet to be sent back to us!!:help: Any comments will be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

  4. Hey all,

My fiance is preparing/assembling our I-129F packet now to be mailed to TSC tomorrow, so I guess that makes us an April filer! Can't believe it's April already! Where did the time go?

Anyway, here's to us all April filers, let's keep each other company here on this long K1 journey! :star::yes: Cheers to a speedy and trouble/fuss-free journey!

  5. If you were in college prior to 2003 then that means you were unemployed and you should mark it as such, then fill out the rest of the form with your current job which has lasted almost 4 years.

For the second issue, I wouldn't worry about it too much either. You can just cross it out, make the correction and initial it so they can see it was a change made by you.

So they won't RFE me if they see it's a change made by me?

Why not ask your fiancee to fill out another G-325A and send that to you?

We did think of that, but it's gonna take another week for it to reach me, and we'd like to file ASAP. Thanks.

  6. Hi,

Two other quick questions for you all. First, in the cover letter, I am supposed to list everything that's included in the package. How detailed does that list have to be? In the template provided on VJ, they simply said "Proof of ongoing relationship" and "Proof of having met in the last 2 years.". Do I need to go into more detail than that and list specifically such as "Credit card bills", "Hotel Receipts", "Flight Itineraries"?

Additionally, how do you recommend that I organize the package? Should I organize by type, that is to say put all credit card bills together, all hotel receipts together. Or Should I organize by trip? That is put all evidence in support of a visit together, and so on? Thanks.

  7. Hi Guys,

I'm filling out the G325A right now, and I've only been employed a little under 4 years, which I put on the first line. Do I need to make any other notation to indicate that I was unemployed (still in college) prior to June of 2003?

Also, my fiancee on her 325 put her date of employment at merck as June 2002 to Now. However, in truth, it was from January. She sent me the forms, and that's the only mistake on there. What are my options:

    1) Do I have to hand copy and refill out everything on the blanks forms she sent me with her signature filled in

    2) Can I use white out, or simply cross out the date and write in January

    3) Or can I just leave the mistake and hope they don't check too carefully?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Xin Li

  8. Hi All,

We're in the process of filing for the K1, but my fiance lost his passport while travelling last Dec and all the entry stamps of trips he made here to visit me are gone too. He also have not kept his old boarding passes. Though he has kept all the travel itineraries and is planning to submit those.

On the other hand, I have all my entry stamps that I made to the US, and I've kept all of the boarding pass stubs too. I have made copies of those and sent them to him.

He does have Credit card statements showing that he has made purchases in my country, so my question is, is that enough? Does he have to make a statement saying that he has lost his old passport? :help: Thank you all! :) We really do not want to get an RFE...
