Hello fellow July 2019 filers.
Has anyone had any movement with your cases being scheduled for an interview?
no updates yet.

Anyone else having trouble submitting documents after paying the fees? I keep getting this error "The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive."

read the public charge rule thats how they are enforcing the health insurance part. There are many threads on VJ on this and how it was playing out at interviews. Mostly they targeted older immigrants with existing conditions or with sponsors who don't make enough money to satisfy them. If you make a whole lot more than the minimum the possibility of it not being an issue is higher i suspect, but then again who the hell knows?
Oh okay thanks for explaining, I think this is another unnecessary hurdle we have to jump over, they keep adding things and its frustrating.

I just went through all the next steps that needs to happen before a green card is granted after I-130 application is approved. No where did I see the need for health insurance. Can someone explain to me where that came from?

Got approval notice today. PD 7/22/19.

Thanks! This is very helpful. Please change the share options to give us edit access so we can enter our information.
Thought I did sorry, it's all done now everyone can now enter their information.

Hi,
So I created a table to help us keep track, I found that with the N-400 process this made it easier, everyone can enter their own information.
See link below:

How long did it get everyone to get an E-notification using G-1445?
I submitted my I-130's on 7/17 to the Chicago Lockbox. I live in Chicago so assuming it arrived 7/18 or 7/19. Haven't had my credit card charged, or notified yet.
I also filed mine on the 07/17 it should have been received on the 07/20 but I have not received any notifications.

Hey guys, I have another question regarding the interview:
I know they say we must bring originals of all documents to the interview, which makes sense, however, some of the documents I uploaded to the website when applying for my N-400 were actually "copies" of papers that I got off the internet, such as energy bills (I went paperless, therefore I got 'em off the energy co.'s website) and bank statements (again, I went paper-free so I was able to get them off their website). If I go ahead and only print them out, technically they're not originals, so could that be an issue? I'll probably call bank & energy company tomorrow and see if I can have the "originals" of those papers sent to me by mail, just in case.
I brought what I printed offline. I had a folder of stuff I brought with me to my interview, all my IO asked to see was my green card, nothing else, but I think its great to have lots of evidence with you in case your IO has questions.

Meet your newest US Citizen
So this is a TL of events that took place today, I like details so I am going to try and be as detailed as possible..
- my interview was supposed to be at 8:10am
- got there at 7:55am had to wait 5mins for them to open the doors
- 8:40 am my interviewer called my name
- I swore in, she asked for my green card
- she took my fingerprints (left and right index finger)
- then she made me answer questions from application (full name, DOB, spouse full name, spouse DOB, address, date of marriage, when did you become a permanent resident, places you’ve traveled outside the US ((this made me super nervous because I did not remember the exact dates)), where do you work, places you’ve lived and so on..
- then she moved on to the yes or no questions from my application (have you ever committed a crime? been a habitual drunkard...)
- Then she started with the test, no warning what so ever, my questions were:
- what does the president cabinet do
- who is in charge of the executive branch
- what is the name of the vice president
- what is the economic system of the United States
- who is the commander and chief of the military
- what did the declaration of independence do?
- read: who was George Washington
- write: Washington was the first president
- then I had to sign the tablet twice saying that everything is true & check that all my information was correct
- she gave me a sheet saying she was recommending me for approval (YAY)
- she then asked if I wanted to be scheduled for the oath ceremony in August or September or I could do it today, I opted to do it today of course!! so she asked me to have a seat in the waiting room by that time it was 8:57am.
9:05 am - while waiting my status changed online to "case was submitted for quality review based on an approval recommendation"
9:20am - I was called to the counter, she took my green card and asked questions about "since your interview have you committed any crimes, got divorced, traveled outside the country and so on..." the officer was like you haven't done any of these things in the last ten minutes? we both laughed
- I completed my oath ceremony, was given my certificate, a mini flag and a package before I got to my car my status changed online to "certificate of naturalization was issued"
All in all I am so happy to be done with this process. Good luck to everyone. If anyone has any questions let me know.

I need help from fellow members my removal of condition approved last week. Still waiting for the physical card.
Do i need for physical card or i can file the n400
Should i apply online or paper format.Does online is faster than paper format.
My local office is Newark
I filed my N400 online the same day my ROC was approved, you have the option to add extra documents later so when I got the card I attached the pictures to the application online.

N400 May 2019
I am a member of the April 2019 N400 filers and I find the table very helpful, so I figured I would create one for the May 2019 filers.

Got a text notification this morning that my case was updated , However, the new website still says "We reviewed your biometrics" I'm sure it will update at some point. My estimated completion dates is Dec 2019 (7months) so this is exciting.

I think the estimated times are just made up . Mine still says May 2020(12 months) but I got interview scheduled for June 20, literally after two days I did my bio.
So exciting that you got an interview. Did you apply based on the 3 year? or 5 year rule?

Don't be sad, wait for tomorrow and see. I'm not too hyped up by the decreased time, but we just have to cheer ourselves up from this stressful and exhausting final journey. The wait is too looooooong.
Nvm, just checked again & my wait time decreased from May 2020 (12 months) to Dec 2019 (7 months). Too bad I sent a message inquiring as to why my estimated wait time wasn't available.
