On May 1, I received a notification saying "New Card is Being Produced". Today, the automated email tells me there is no progress on your case. It seems like automated notifications cannot keep it up.

Hey Octobears,
I couldn't bear another day (Day 202) of not knowing where I stand with the EAD/AP situation - so I gave a call to USCIS today to speak to a Tier 2 agent. Spoke with someone today and was told that nothing had been touched on my case since Nov last year! He said that there was a huge backlog at NBC for EAD and AP's and that the last time someone called in he was advised to give the Ombudsman number, especially as I'm still within 'Normal Processing Times', even though I'm about a week away from being outside Normal Processing Times now. He understood my frustration and gave me the Ombudsman number. I proceeded to call the Ombudsman [(202) 357-8100] and they told me just to fill out a form online ( https://cisomb.dhs.gov/oca/form7001.aspx ) - which I have done but don't know if it's gone through as I've yet to receive a confirmation email. [It apparently doesn't work on Chrome or Firefox and you have to use Internet Explorer? - But I managed to work it on Chrome, if I don't receive any confirmation by tomorrow, will re-submit after re-downloading Internet Explorer...]
I am not sure if this will help anyone else, but if it does, glad to pass on the information - I know we are all going stir crazy in waiting. Here's to more approvals this week and some solid responses to everyone whose sent in a case inquiry or RFE/RFIE!

There is no need for concern. My case status never changed to "ready to be scheduled for an interview" until 5 months after "case was received". Once it changed to "ready to be scheduled for an interview" it stayed like that for 7 days, then it changed to "Interview was scheduled." Some case workers just don't update the case status as they work the case. It has no bearing on anything. You can't compare your case to anyone else's because some people get constant case status updates, some never get any. I've seen people receive their EAD in the mailbox, and their case status still says "Case was received." I still did not receive my EAD and it will be 6 months since I applied on April 19th. My Green Card interview is in 3 weeks, which means I will have waited 7 months for an interview, but my LFO Timeline says 9 months-22.5 months for an interview. There's no use trying to make sense of anything, or comparing your case to others. I've learned there's no pattern, or rules when it comes to USCIS.
