If you would like to join the whatsapp where you can learn more about NVC's timelines, as well as share in the experiences and timelines of other Nigerian IR1/CR1 visa applicants that will be interviewing at the US consulate here in Lagos, then drop your name and number. I will add you.
The whatsapp group was created for Nigerians and their spouses in the US, who are currently at the NVC stage.
The group was also created for the purpose of helping each other out and following up on our visa journey progress to the USA and fulfill our goals of reuniting with our loved ones in the USA.

What's the confusion about, MrsEze? There's no need for that. As long as you submitted your documents in a PDf format, then there is nothing to worry about. PDf automatically saves your documents horizontally.
I have been documentarily qualified since the 3rd of September. I'm waiting for interview letter from NVC now.

I never sent anything more than the biological data pages for any passport. I sent in my passport picture page with the opposite signature page included (because I scanned the passport opened flat) and the same with my husband's Macedonian passport. For my joint sponsor, I scanned their birth certificate.

Yup, it is very sad. After waiting 1 year for NOA2, we still have to wait almost a month for them just to send the case to NVC. I saw someone from July 2 or 3 got sent to NVC on 31st. I am almost ready with all documents for the next stage. Hopefully, we hear something soon.

July 23 we got an update saying it had JUST been sent to NVC, nothing else.
We are SOOOOOOOOOOOOO far beyond tired of dealing with this #######. 7/31 I contacted my congressman inquiring about an expedite at the NVC stage and had a office staff member contact me and gave our info. He called back and had us feel out a form for privacy release or something so they could look into our case. I haven't heard back from them yet, but didn't really expect it this quick. He was very nice and seemed to have decent knowledge of this whole process. Like the reality, not the total BS immigration feeds everyone so he gave me some hope... We will see.
