Congrats guys!!! I am still waiting for case number from NVC. They received my petition last week and yesterday they told me they are scanning all documents into system and I should get case number within a week or two. Make sure to call them every week and give your receipt number, they can give you info with this number until case number is Assigned!!  Good luck guys, let’s hope things go by quickly!! Nothing will compare to the horrible 1 year petition processing!!

How long you waited that your case status from USCIS turn to DOS?

I filed an I-130 petition for my husband in July of 2018.  Today his CR-1 visa was approved so we're near the end of the long wait to finally live together.  My husband and I arrived at the consulate in Rio de Janeiro this morning, just before 7 am, for his 7:40 am appointment.  At about 7:50 am my husband's name was called, to go to window 14 which is the one with a door that you close behind you when entering. I was more nervous than my husband was--we have a big age gap and my Portuguese is not great but he was very calm and confident.  We had front-loaded and side-loaded with lots of relationship evidence.  My husband was only asked a few questions in Portuguese by a very nice younger female American consulate officer. She asked him how we met, when we met, and how many times in person I had visited him in Brazil (8 times). I added, in Portuguese, that we had recently spent 11 days in Europe together, so a total of 9 trips together, plus the current one in Rio (7 days), so a total of ten face to face visits. The CO only asked me two questions, in English, my current profession, and how long I had been working in that field. After that she said everything was good, the visa was approved, and that it would arrive in about two weeks by courier service. The whole interview was maybe 5 minutes and we were done and approved. I couldn't believe how smoothly it went. We left the room and passed all the people waiting for their interviews after us and stepped out into the stairwell where we had one of the biggest hugs ever. I started to cry, and we walked out into the glorious warm sunshine of Rio in the morning of Brazilian Valentine's Day. Life is good!  And good luck to all of you still waiting.  Your day will come.

Hi, may I know your service center? Thanks.

Hi! I know this is too late... but i hope you could help us.

    Here is our timeline:

    Married: June 2018

Sent i-130 to Phoenix, AZ: August 4 2018

NOA1 received: August 6 2018 (Nebraska service center)

    Priority date: August 6 2018

Noa2 none yet. What must be the problem? What causes the delay? Getting a little frustrated here now:( thank you :)

My PD is July 20,2018 and until now no NOA2 yet. Nebraska Service Center too.

Going on 10 months for us too. In Nebraska service center. Does anyone have any idea how long it will actually take to he approved? The processing time says 7 to 10 months but I know it’ll be longer

mine too its more than 10 months my NOA1 is July 20,2018, we already inform USCIS for our case being outdated and their response that our case is next in line and wait for 60 days for update. Our case sent to Nebraska Service Center. This is insane, too long of waiting.

We just received the email that my husband's interview will be June 12 in Rio!!  Faster that we expected but we are so happy!  CC was May 2, interview email received today, May 21, interview June 12.  God is watching over us.  Now we're changing our travel plans for June.  We had planned to be together for a week on the beach in Brazil to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, June 21, now we're adjusting for this news, to be together for his medical exam June 5 and interview June 12.  Good luck everyone while you wait.

May I know your service center?

We are 6/6/2018 and still waiting for Nebraska. None of 195 cases I can see around mine on Case Tracker June 5th and 6th have been approved. We are outside of the 10th month processing range.  I see it says on Visa Journey that a June 4th case was processed though, so I'm hopeful!

I think better for you to call USCIS because they are processing June 29 now. And your case was overdue to the time frame of approval.

Good luck for all of us! please keep updated.
My priority date was on 6th of July 2018
My NOA was on 11 th of July 2018

    and got Nebraska service centre.

According to other's information who have applied, it takes approximately 6 months for texas service centre, i have no idea  for the nebraska one, hopefully it goes faster :D. I estimate our case will be closed on december 2018 (for the best case) or february 2019 (for the worse case).

The waiting game is ON. Just forget about the process for awhile and open it 3 months later.

    Cheers!

Nebraska service center takes 7.5 to 10 months processing.
